Yeah powerful no doubt.. I know that it's a fact that it tomorrow than on person to make a successful band. But let's face this band wouldn't work if it wasn't for tge genius of J. Page guitar 🎸!!
Love it. I was in Row 4 at Earl's Court in 1975 with Jimmy Page in front (and the large video cameras so everyone could see it). It was shrouded in darkness and they kicked off with Rock n' Roll....They just steamrollered us.....what a concert!
One of the most rocking tunes in our history, I hear how Bonham jammed w/JP, not to mention Plant, JPJ not that defined here but, exceptional. You make Jimmy proud the rest jealous...
Hi James! I just wanted to say how big of an impact you've had on me. I've been playing guitar for about 16 months now, and I've learned dozens of Beatles, Stones, and now Zeppelin songs thanks to you. I hope someday to become half as good as you are!
In my experience, it helps to spend the majority of your adolescence in your room, playing along to records. That, and playing with other human beings.
Made me feel better having read that statement Nick. My wasted years in my room with a small 5 watt amp & $200 electric guitar was my adolescence. The occasional jam session was my big night out. Still. I didn't turn out all that bad.
I remember listening to this song for the first time as a kid and reading the name of the song "Rock n' Roll" remember thinking if they named it this it better be good. They didn't disappoint.
Hey, none of us can leave our houses anyway, so plenty of time to practice. (Note to any readers years from now: well, there was this virus going around...)
Just have to say THANK YOU for all of your posts!!!! You make everything look so effortless. Whenever I want to learn a new song I always go to your channel first because I know it will probably be there and done right! Thanks again and keep the music coming!
Awesome stuff Jame James! Well played and I respect your humble nature. Enjoy you videos immensely and use them for learning as well. Keep playing Sir. Much respect from Sydney, Australia.
Led Zeppelin met Elvis a few times in Vegas. I seen a program and it had his then butler a young guy who was saying he was really excited about meeting Led Zeppelin. Elvis said to him remember whose paying your wages. He said Elvis asked the band whose airplane is that you arrived on? The band said we lease it. Elvis replied I own mine.
Alex Bowman Huh? Madison Square Garden. L.A. Forum. Elvis's home in Memphis. Yes, various members met Elvis at various times. Elvis had a young boy butler? Do you mean a relative. When did any member of LZ meet Elvis in Vegas? Can you post where you found that info? It would be interesting to read.
Thanks for another great show James James. But holy s^%t f@#ck what an amazing tone outta that guitar. That's so far outta reach man. What a piece of wood.
Wowzers James James. Been watching you for a few years now, I'm thinking he makes it look easy,I'll probably nail that. Then I chuck it after 5mins lol. Pleasure to watch.
Love the so so gesture you give after the solo, hilarious! Seems like you were having a good time playing this one. To me that's what playing guitar is all about, no matter what your skill level is. Really enjoy your videos, thanks for posting them.
Ya nailed the solo brother!! That solo is so very hard to hear with the backing tracks in the mix of Zep. 4. Took me a looooong time to get it down. You smoked it James. I watch your vid`s alot, and you are one very talented dude. But your fingers have gotta hurt cuz ya bite em down to nothing!!! ouch! Keep on rockin James!!
Yikes... I had no idea this song was so simple... And you make it look easy. That LP sounds like a CHAINSAW! I LOVE IT! What are you doing that with? Which amp and pedals or settings? Thanks for this
Let's take a moment and appreciate how powerful Robert Plant's voice is in that song
That's not Robert Plant, it's just a cover
Santiago Bizzarri regardless in the original Robert Plant sets himself apart amongst the amazing track
Yeah powerful no doubt.. I know that it's a fact that it tomorrow than on person to make a successful band. But let's face this band wouldn't work if it wasn't for tge genius of J. Page guitar 🎸!!
The mere sound of a Les Paul just invigorates me.
Silvertone does that for Mwa!!!! They are rare now. Sighs!@@!
It has NOT been a long time since this man has Rock n' Rolled....
😂😂😂
Love it. I was in Row 4 at Earl's Court in 1975 with Jimmy Page in front (and the large video cameras so everyone could see it). It was shrouded in darkness and they kicked off with Rock n' Roll....They just steamrollered us.....what a concert!

Amen, brother.
Made me feel better having read that statement Nick. My wasted years in my room with a small 5 watt amp & $200 electric guitar was my adolescence. The occasional jam session was my big night out. Still. I didn't turn out all that bad.
Very cool...... Jimmy is the man and always will be.

Those Tokai Les Pauls are so incredible!
Omg 😱 that tone. If there’s a tone I’ve been longing for this is it....crunchy and in your face
