When I get into a reading slump I always which my reading to a different type of book like mangas or graphic novels. They easier to read for me personally and very pretty, I would recommened Tillie Walden if the idea peaks your fancy.📖
I love that you have a little file of bookmarks and that you think about which bookmark should go with the book you're about to read. And thanks for sharing about The Six Deaths of the Saint. I like reading actual books as opposed to reading on a screen, and now I can finally read your favorite book!
I usually put my Illumicrate editions in one of the local LFLs. They're always gorgeous, but I rarely re-read fiction and my house is super-small, so having a collection is pretty much not in the cards for me. (Which is fine; I buy books to read them. But those Illumicrate editions are freaking beautiful as objects unto themselves, for sure.) :)
I feel you with being tired by certain things triggering your heart. I have congenital heart disease called tetralogy of fallout and it's been difficult trying to do normal things that I want to do with others but can't and it's frustrating being warn out after one of the triggers occur. I'm just getting back into a routine myself and feeling a bit more like myself. I'm currently reading Sarah Sutton's new book Love and Other Champagne Problem in tandem with Natalie D Richards Five Total Strangers. My last TBR book for August will be The Bone Orchard by Sara A. Mueller. I've been loving your videos and you have been inspiring me to get outside and explore but also to read and write! Being out in nature I feel is so important for us.
Definitely rereading a 5-star favorite helps get me out of my reading slumps. Typically in audiobook form.

Cracking open a coke to read is so real
I know! That made me so want to do the same, but I have no Coke in the house.
Hahaha, my emotional support.

Sounds like a great TBR!
It's always so nice to know we aren't alone.
I find it hard to read when I'm writing a lot. Especially if what I'm writing is the same genre with the book I'm trying to read. Great video ❤
Thank you so much!
When I'm in a readingslump, I will probably pick up a colouringbook for adults. 😊🖍🖌🎨
I love that idea!
Because of moving and packing being my priority. My slump is tiny, not too bad. Lol. 😂🧋📚
