Once again youve brought some great watches to my attention! I love all of these, the CWC on that red, white and blue nato looks the business. The anOrdain models look absolutely stunning, superb workmanship! Thanks for another great video mate 👍
I bought a Marlowe Coniston K4 a month ago on sport strap. What a nice watch. Like it so much I bought a Solent Timer Rescue last week. Very thoughtful designs. Both wear like a dream. Value? I "almost" feel guilty because the value is amazing. BTW....I learned about Marlowe through your video. Thanks!
My pleasure! I'll be turning this into a series now. Highlighting tons of different countries and microbrands that should be on our radars! Thanks for watching
Timor is definitely worth a mention. Timor was an original 'dirty dozen' manufacturer and its reissues of the WWW and ATP watches are the best around. Originally Swiss, it's now a British company, making British-designed watches, albeit made in Switzerland.
They did actually make the list at first but I cut them and went with CWC instead. I didn't want too many field watch brands. I feel like CWC is the king of British Military watches at the moment.
A nice overview of some British brands but… Bremont *does not* make any watches for the British Armed Forces. CWC *does* still make watches for the British Armed Forces, specifically (and only) the SBS Diver. Comparing an hourly chiming mechanism with a minute repeater is like saying that a quartz watch is similar to an atomic clock.
Fears + Garrick (others have mentioned the brands not listed) and all are under the watchful eye of Mr Smith. Have a look at the British clock and watch alliance. They have a list of the main manufacturers.
All brands that I looked at when making the video. I could only choose 10, so I picked the ones I thought my audience would find the most interesting. Surprisingly there's a lot of British watchmakers so I might make a part 2 at some point. Thank you for watching Mark!
I made a video recently on British brands and Farer, Marloe and Christopher Ward were some of my top picks! I love something a little different and as brands and I love their GMT and chronos especially. Great video man! Can’t wait to see more!
Good to hear! That's my aim with these videos. To introduce and shine the light on some lesser-known brands who could do with some attention! Thanks for watching
Pinion did make the shortlist but not the cut. I love the look of the Neutron model. They'll probably get a shout in a future video :) thanks for watching Jeron!
Was going to suggest Scurfa, but it appears their watches aren't available for the immediate future. As with Timefactors (another UK brand), their popularity has surpassed their ability to supply a product.
Christopher Ward is my personal favourite from this list - they make some truly fantastic watches. But that logo is absolutely shocking, looks more like a tech startup rather than a watch brand :(
You ignored a couple of serious contenders in the British watch sphere - Garrick, who make exceptional watches with superb, handmade guilloche dials, and the undisputed king of British haute horology, Roger Smith.
Not ignored, I studied through about 60 British watch brands when deciding who to feature. I went with the brands that appealed to me the most and also the brands I thought my audience would enjoy seeing. Roger Smith will feature in a video in the future for sure. But one about the highest level of watchmaking and not a microbrand style video like this one
Hadn't seen them before your comment. Just checked them out and they look very slick. I'll look into them some more and they might feature in the future! Thanks for the recommendation
Accurist was close to featuring for sure. But I feel Rotary have massively gone down hill in recent years. I wanted to highlight up and coming brands that need some publicity.

What about Zero West? It's a beautiful military (Air Force) styled watch brand that I discovered advertised by Mr. Paul Thorpe. What are your thoughts? Cheers! from The Bronx NYC. America.
Great looking watches that's for sure. I wanted to try and keep the majority of the picks relatively affordable though. As the majority watching will gain more from these brands than luxury offerings.

You've seen my Mr. Jones. I love it. I've even got the T-shirt.
What a unique list of British & Scottish watches. Thank you, many on my wish list starting with a Farer. I didn’t know about Isotope. 🔥
Thank you mate! Glad you enjoyed them. I learnt of a couple new ones when making this video too! We're all on the journey 😊

Cwc is top 3 for me out of this list. That mechanical one is just a little beauty! What country do you think I should do next Rik?
@@TopTierTicker How about Germany? Certainly Laco and Stowa spring to mind. If you could make an affordable list that would be great!👍

I wonder if Neil Duckworth is related to Keith Duckworth, co-founder of Cosworth?

Great video man! Can’t wait to see more!
Thanks mate! CW are killing it. Excited to see where they can take things in the future. I think they have a big ceiling
CWC / Cabot are excellent quality and fabulously priced.
Very informative. Thank you.
My pleasure! Thanks for watching
Really interesting, thx for posting. I learnt some new names today and will most certainly be checking them out

Great video! Thx!
Old one now. But still holds up, I think 😆 thanks for watching Maxina, always good to see you in the comments 🙏
Wonderful video
Thanks Richard! Good to have you on the channel
Pinion would have been nice to see too.
I would like to have seen a mention of Loomes of Stamford.
I have my eye on a Robin 👍
What about Pinion Watches?
One of my favorite watches in my collection.
Pinion did make the shortlist but not the cut. I love the look of the Neutron model. They'll probably get a shout in a future video :) thanks for watching Jeron!

Good presentation but I miss Garrick
Studio underdog will be up there one day
Already are in my opinion! They just need to make more watches so people can actually buy them!
Don't forget Fears watches.

@@Rog5446 doesn't everyone already know about Bremont?

Fears?
I want a Bel Canto so bad!
Nite Watches! You forgot this one!

Elliott Brown? 🤔
Accurist and Rotary does not exist anymore?
Accurist was close to featuring for sure. But I feel Rotary have massively gone down hill in recent years. I wanted to highlight up and coming brands that need some publicity.
Fears,Garrick,Studio Underdog etc 😢
Good shouts, they'll feature on the channel in the future!
What about Zero West watches. Big mistake
There's lots of British brands not featured. Unless the video was an hour long it's near impossible to squeeze them all in. Hardly a mistake.
This has been the most expensive RUclips video I've seen for a long time........
Haha! make sure you don't watch the German and Japenese watch brands too then!
Bremont are completely overhyped and far too expensive. They are NOT in house manufacture.

@@TopTierTicker Jeez, good point. I didn't think about that. 👍
@@TopTierTicker do Bremont count as relatively affordable?
Nope, hence why I said majority.
