Jamie Lee Curtis being 18 in this blows my mind. It’s relatively well understood that fashion has a lot to do with that effect but she really looks at least mid 30s to my late gen y eyes

People did look older back then though. If you go watch something from the late 90's that isn't done with makeup and actors, you will nitice 20 year olds look damn near 30. It's mostly that we haven't had leaded gasoline and the heavy regulations on emissions from factories for long enough that the lead and other toxic chemicals (but especially the lead) have gone down significantly in our atmosphere. Lead is brutal stuff. Also all of the solvents, lead paint, toxic clothing dyes, asbestos, etc. If we could do something about China, India, and the rest of Asia and Africa to get to the standards of 2008 as to what North America and Europe did, we would be so much better off.

@@melakon1 it's a fact. The lead in our air was the main contributing factor to that. Go watch anything live, we were all grey and wrinkled from the toxic air we had no choice in breathing.

It is a possibility, but there were several times that he acted like that, and they were such good friends, that I don't particularly believe it was that.
@@tytits yeah, I just thought I'd throw it out there, as a possibility. Sometimes he calls her out, in his bitchy hilarious way, about little things that might kind of really bug him, like when he once said she's been copying his answers for 5 years. It very well could have been boredom and burnout with the show. Or maybe he was hung over from drinking with Brett the night before.
@@zubileegluckgluck Also I think something that has to be taken into consideration, is the fact that with all the years they were on the air on CBS, they all must have been a bit stressed out and burned out at this point, because of the transition to a new network, and constantly having to change time slots, and still having to put on a smile and a great show, even though they probably all were a bit frustrated and upset at this point.

Yes, I said it twice on here last week, Brett was GORGEOUS without those glasses. One of those episodes, she had no glasses, her hair up and dangly sliver earrings. She was GORGEOUS !

I’m told that the celebrity panelists made $400 or$500 bucks a show , not a bad gig for the era.
They shot 5 shows a day, with a generous helping of liquor and drugs btwn the first 3 and the last 2. Great gig!
