I think its going to be fun seeing all these teams drafting ready to play players. Seems to be quite a few of those types of teams recently.
As much as a jimmy reunion entices me, building out the roster with high level starters/role players like Malik monk and miles bridges as well as shooters like buddy hield and maybe obi topin and bringing back the dogs that have proven themselves on our roster like Kelly oubre and cam payne entices me more
Embiid playing in the Olympics this summer, with his injury history, is crazy.
I'm thinking he misses the first 20 games of the next season due to injuries from the previous season and the Olympics.

If i was morey, it's about time to build around maxey. not embiid. basically find pieces that fall under these 3 categories:
1. near the same age as maxey
2. can shoot from 3 so can space the floor for maxey
3. is young and healthy enough to play alot of games
jimmy and george is just more of embiid's timeline. they arent bastions of health either and would miss alot of games. If morey was ballsy, he'd consider trading embiid out west. make his injury issues someone else's problem and go all in on maxey. perhaps call up old firends in houston if they'd like to pair van vleet with embiid while morey can get sengun, green, filler and lots of picks. then use the free cap space to sign a healthier 2nd/3rd star. doesnt have to be houston either. maybe check with okc how they feel about pairing up SGA and embiid then they can fish out chet, j-dub, filler and lots of picks.

Philly have some options for sure... I think teams like Phoenix, Clippers and Lakers will be active during the summer, because they need to make some massive changes if they wanna be competitive again, but Philly actually got the budget, and their team doesn't need as much of a change. I think Jimmy is a more all around player (defense/offense) but Paul George is a more accurate shooter (scorer) so either way they would be amazing, if they look into long term problem solving, then Ingram would be a better choice since he is only 26yo compare to the other two (34yo).
Paul George and & Brandan Ingram are good choices to replace Tobias Harris but Joel Embiid needs a good back up center as well.

As a Sixers fan… I want ROLE players around Joel and Maxey….. I don’t want George I don’t want Ingram and I am 50/50 on Jimmy just because he’s already close to retirement…. Getting Drummond as a backup center and a role player like Lauri markenen who’s gonna be a free agent is gonna be the best route
Lauri wouldn't be a good option. He plays too much in the same 'space' on the court as Embiid. Nah... you need a wing to complement Embiid and Maxey.

Honestly I think they really should look at the Brandon Ingram choice as their 'plan A'. If PG wants to come to Philly and is willing to work his contract to make it work out well for them they'll bite, but I think they could stay out of the PG-13 sweepstakes and still take a big stride forward by adding Ingram.
