I wonder if that's a generic voice line or triggers on the Dash specifically? I'm sure Supergiant has access to the exact pick rates of each boon, so it might be the latter.
I think it's interesting how Dionysus essentially wants nothing to do with the conflict with Olympus, which actually makes sense because his origin story had him be screwed over pretty heavily due to Olympus's drama, and his status as the God of Wine puts him at a distance from other Gods and their more 'serious' jobs like Athena. How many family members might've blown off his invitations to drink and have fun as a method to get to know them, and then insult him and tell him to be more serious? How close is he to any of the rest of the Gods? Understanding that would help better contextualize his behaviour here. While some family members will fight to protect their home, Dionysus represents an understandable viewpoint of, "I was born AFTER this whole thing, this conflict is all your doing not mine, so don't drag me into it." Buuut I definitely think he's drowning out his sorrows and using this party as a form of escapism, cause what Chronos is doing affects EVERYONE, including those that Dionysus cares about, like Zagreus. I really hope we get to hear and talk to him about what he's doing and how he really feels under all that drunken happiness.
@@thomas00129 yep , people forgets , but in Greek Myths , Dionysus was a more god than man , but still had a life as greek hero and then multiple episodes as a god of madness. He then replaced Hestia within the Thrones of Olympus. So definetely a secret boss material.
Some of Dio's dialog makes me think he might hold a lot of contempt for his family. I understand Hera and maybe Artemis and Eros, but why the rest. That and the guy's probably depressed.
The developers seem to not incorporate his myth of being a god of madness. So it looks like compared to other gods, he doesn't like that war is happening and recognizes that it's happening because of further family drama. He even comments about trying to fix it by inviting Chronos over to hash things out but Zeus refused his proposal. So the contempt is well founded when your surrounded by ego maniacs that refuses to fix their problems. And all Dio could do is try to forget his problems by drowning himself in wine.
Athena, firm but fair, Diyonisis unmotivated, but fun. Weirdly enough, I have been in this position where Mel is. Thinking about it I still kinda am. Debating a course of action with one family member while simultaneously keeping a secret for another that would clearly upset the rest of the members. One thing is for certain when it comes to family, be it mortal or God, it is a messy business.
I'm always surprised Athena the goddess of wisdom and war can be so soft and gentle with her family (mostly her siblings) she really gives of big sister vibes.
Dude, you play really well! How do you find the game overall (story, characters)? I'm already looking forward to your streams of Genshin Impact; it's been a while since the last one. I recently got hooked on it through Boosteroid, and it played much better than on my phone. What do you think about cloud gaming in general? Is it worth your attention?
I think it’s a matter of taste. There some where I vastly prefer the first one to the second but then there’s some where I think they’re an improvement.
@hinka9391 Which Olympic god designs do you prefer Hades 1 design vs Hades 2? I love all the Hades 2 designs. I dislike Hestia design (I prefer the fan modded design instead). I can't wait to see Ares new design.

LMFAO the way even Athena herself acknowledges Divine Dash as Zag’s favorite

Athena really makes such an epic entrance when she appears. It's like she's making a superhero landing.
