I'm guessing this is Pokemon Colloseum? Gale of Darkness uses the same exact SFX, which is kinda interesting. Also, I think you should've kept using Flamethrower with Entei. Seemed like it was doing more damage than bite. Plus, small chance of burning, halving Salamance's attack. Just a thought.
Yep! This is Pokémon Colosseum. Both Pokémon Colosseum and XD Gale of Darkness are made by the same company, so they use the same features. Now in turn for Flamethrower, it was doing more damage because of STAB but it was also doing more damage because I had Sunny Day active as well. It does have a small chance to burn, but if the boss has more than 2 Full Restores, it does clear that out. Now why I switched to Bite, is because it also has the same small chance to cause Flinching, which can't be healed from a Full Restore. I think if Sunny Day wasn't active, Flamethrower probably wouldn't have actually done the amount of damage shown, since Dragon types resist Fire types
