if kuro will follow what they did to PGR, you dont have to worry. Besides if they follow, Wuwa will be a lot harder as it expand its game. theyre gonna put more teams and conditions which means there's no powercreeeping. even standard characters in PGR are metaish just like whats happening now to wuwa. One thing i dont want with Kuro, Theyre skins are so pricey compare to other games. But every character there has free skins every tier upgrade. Hope to see that in wuwa, Having new character cosmetic upgrade each Resonance thats a big bonus for spending or getting lucky.

People’s Logic : Jiyan is braindead cuz he is too strong. Yinlin is skill based - who won’t even be on the field and will provide free braindead damage buff to Calcharo who itself is a flashy braindead character. People talk about skills as if Jiyan has only 2 buttons to smash while other characters have 20. Skills are tested on L3+ holograms and you can’t just press a button whether it’s Jiyan or anyone else. You still gotta spot dodge and time your parry.

Same I have calcharo and verina 🤧 the best choice would be yinlin but I just love jiyan a bit more not able to choose 😭 I mean jiyan and verina or calcharo and verina are good but for jiyan I will need a good sub dps and in case of calcharo I will have yinlin and healer so I think I have to go for yinlin 🤧
100% you and my brain work the same BUT, I need to have Jiyan for aero dps since the ToA give aero bonus damage on one of the stages. You can replace Yinlin but you can’t (really) replace aero for now, at least.

AND FINALLY ON THE 60th pull, I got my desired Taoqi along with Yinlin on accident. Although she is very overrated, she’s pretty good with taoqi (main dps) as a ult buffer.

One thing I like to consider with who to pull for is also how they do in the story. Cause maybe it’s just me but I’m not likely to want a character whose role is underwhelming or has a terrible story behind them. Like I’m not pulling for Jiyan, but his story role was so awesome it made me consider it just because of how cool he is.
I rerolled a bunch of new accounts and got an acc with 2 jiyans, Jiyan's weapons, and 1 yinlin on it . all from the few beginner pulls we get from mail 🤣

I like how pragmatic Jiyan is compared to someone like Jing Yuan from HSR. He has claws on his fingers and mixes spearmanship with swordsmanship. Compared to his predecessor his design and backstory sounds like he EARNED his position. Probably when the predecessor comes back we’ll see his authority being undermined. Hopefully they use this to expand on the story in ways that can make it compare to others. At least the beginning was better than Honkai Impact 3rd.
