I'm gonna be skipping weapons for the time being until I have a decent amount of characters. After that Ill start considering weapons and constellations similar to what I do in Genshin now.
I'm holding off on my guaranteed till the last day of Jiyan's banner. I hope someone runs the numbers and we get a good look on how the magistrate plays till then. If she can do good AoE and isn't on some crazy rotation then i wait for her.
after looking leaks, its safe to say you dont need other character signature weapon for future banner. they really fully utilize the character signature kit. i was aiming yinlin weapon for jinhsi, but that no need to do that anymore. (i read the weapon pattern) and jiyan weapon is not fit for jinhsi too.
If rumors are true Jinhsi can't even use Yinlin or Jiyans weapons since she's allegedly a sword user, not a rectifier or broadblade user. So you straight up can't utilize them on her if you pulled them

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't all of Yinlins buffs literally disappear when doing all that quickswap stuff with Calcharo? So doesn't that mean she effectively has no buffing capabilities at all?
It disappears after you swap the character you swapt to say you have yinlin calcharo and verina you outro with yinlin to calcharo you give him the buffs but if you swap to verina or yinlin before buff duration ends it ends regardless

I mean she's still good as an off field damage dealer but that's all she is on this team with this playstyle.
Managed to get Jiyan in 30 pulls and won my 50/50 for yinlin and picked up the weapon in ~25 pulls, so I still have something like 60 pulls left for the next banner. Only 5 star I don't have is Lingyang, which I'm not sad about. Overall pretty lucky account.

I don't understand any of this honestly, i've only pulled on the beginnner banner and gotten Calcharo, then picked Verina from the free selector, haven't used any of the currency that is required for Yinlin or Jyian , how do i get her when i have sub 30 of that currency..?
They don't & Jiyan doesn't even need a 5-star hybrid with him lmao, also your Calcharo team is worthless if you can't do the optimal rotation every time. If you miss a single Death Messenger you're better off running Havoc Rover/Danjin 2x Dreamless at this point LOL

You do know that there's people out there that are paid to do these things? Yinlin IS a quickswap playstyle character LOL why do you think people use her with Havoc Rover/Encore?? The whole point of Yinlin is how much DMG she can dish in the least amount of time. Her S6 rotation is 2.86 seconds with 409 628 DMG & Calcharo's S6 rotation is 11.91 seconds with 514 220 DMG. And if you miss a SINGLE Death Messenger? You lost around 100 000 DMG. And that's WITH quickswap. Without quickswap Encore is better than Calcharo. You know what's Jiyan S6 rotation? It's 911 944 DMG in 12.17 seconds. BY HIMSELF. You could pair him with Mortefi that's a 4-star character & the rotation would go over 1.12M DMG. Like, you definitely do not need to quickswap to clear the content of this game, but if you want to compete with Jiyan? You have to. Yinlin does have the luxury of being more valuable to your account because she's more future proof than Jiyan. Oh, & I have your team as well, just in case you weren't aware.

Just the other day I made another 2 separate acc which got yinlin at 10 pulls then 20 pulls at the other. So yeah it's either wuwa has insane luck for now since it's starting or sea server is lucky?

Which is why Calcharo is "nerfed" from his old days but you can still play him with yinlin normally utilizing her buffs
