Wow, i feel grateful to say this. Because of you and the community i decided to get myself into using DE razors aswell and join this cult of "wet shaving" which i am very VERY excited to try out and learn about. I'll be getting my shaving gear by tomorrow and i hope to have a very pleasant first wet shave, but i won't have to worry since I've been watching Geo for so long! Thank you!
Although I strongly dislike the Gillette company, I love this excellent DE safety razor of theirs. Also, Geo's instruction videos on this great shaving instrument are better than excellent.

Tony k. You’ll love it. It may take some time to get used to, but once you get it down you’ll never go back to cartridges. Remember to use no pressure and let the razor do the work.

Amen to the single edge comment! I use, and have always used, a cartridge razor and I sport a full thick beard, and the cartridge razor is a pain in trying to get a straight, strong, clean defining line. I'm doing research on safety razors and will be making the switch once I find the best one for defining a beard. Was considering the merkur 34c, please comment on any you would suggest for my needs. Wonder where these Razors’s are made? And how many blade companies does Gillette own? I think they own Gillette Blue in Russia, 7 o’clock in India, and another ..... and don’t they own the Art of Shaving? So they are back into DE big ..... thanks for posting this video!
Alex Geld correct, but what’s more economical? A 10-30 cent razor blade in a safety razor vs. a $2-5 dollar cartridge that both last around the same time.
jason shone I’m shocked they even released a safety razor. I thought they’d always stick to selling $5 rip off cartridges that produce nothing but razor burn and ingrown hairs.

Steve Hayes you can use it for a shave. Personally, I always prefer a thick white lather on my face for shaving.

Gillette would do better in marketing if they pointed out that a mask is muchless effective with a beard! That's how Gillette became so large in WWI.

Hey Geo I actually use the blade by itself in my hand and line my beard u with it that way. Just wondering if you ever seen anyone use that method?
I've seen an African barber use the blade with his hands on a head shave.
Seems dangerous... use a safety razor or look into an artist club razor for lining up a beard.
Maybe try a shavette.

The clear gel is great for lineups. Regular shaving-cream and soaps work fine.
