Thanks for posting this. In the hospital right now after emergency surgery and this was the first thing I've wanted to watch since the TVs here only have cable
"Only cable". I remember when cable was a luxury, hospitals would only have public tv. Now RUclips is cable and cable is like public tv. Things change.
Man you can tell Axl carries a really heavy burden for all his actions and the actions of others. He keeps in mind that people used to throw stuff at him for being late, a vicious circle
2009-14 was a fun version of the band. Much more of a "Classic Guns" vibe w/DJ-Bumble- and set the wheels in motion IMHO for the highly successful reunion/re-grouping w/all the Duff/Izzy appearances...
Do you have videos of season 8 with Lars Ulrich or Sammy Hagar? I was in the audience of those shows and can’t find them online! I’m on camera in part of the episode!
I've always suspected his delaying the show is due to being insecure about his voice. Specially the shows where he left the stage after someone "showed him the finger" thats just a rock n' roll way out of a situtation where he knew his voice wouldnt last until the end of the show, I've been in this situation and it is a terrible feeling, made even worse because he had to sing basically every other day, no time to recover, and no technique and still too young to believe he could pull it through by sheer will (which he did for an inhumane amount of time). I'm pretty sure that happened from a very long time before we noticed his voice was fucked.

I think he lets his emotions and feelings speak through his music like most musicians. I think that's part of the reason why GNR connected so well is he put a lot of his emotions in his lyrics and in his performance. What's amazing about him is he has never stopped performing and doing what he loves. It's very inspirational. I never got to see them in their peak years bc i was too young but feel blessed I've seen them in '06 and '21 so far.
The original mixes of Chinese democracy are way better than what was released. He spent too much time tickering. The OG vital demos or even finalized tracks sounded way different.
Eddie is my cousin. He’s very well hung and he knows this but you’re very disrespectful towards him. Jim’s only a 4 incher and Don is micro. Appreciate your support.
@@MaxwellJacobFriedman_MJF I’m sorry that you are related to this pig. I wish you and your family the best, I really do. I’m headed for Helsinki Finland to see a Nightwish concert.
@@andrewshea5130 Please explain how the guy isn't rock n roll? Because of how he dresses?? Because of him Metallica was discovered, and he had the first specifically Heavy Metal show EVER in 1983, was vice president of Megaforce Records with Anthrax and Metallica in 1986 at age 25 (!), signed T.T. Quick, Manowar, Overkill, Kings X and Ace Frehley amoung many others. Has written books on rock history that are essential reading in my opinion (Hard Rock and Heavy Metal Vol 1 & 2.)... I’ve been waiting for this to pop up for years. Couldn’t find it anywhere
That’s what she said
I always search for any new uploads of That Metal Show on RUclips. How did I miss this?

have a good recovery

This was Interesting interview and rarely ever we hear from Axl Rose
He’d be a great guest for Joe Rogan. Joe has a way of getting stuff out of people. He had James Hetfield talking about bee keeping
axl is a fan of eddie he did interview on his radio show also

Thanks so much for posting this... search this for years. I thought it was copyrighted
Way better interview than Jimmy Kimmel! Can't even compare. Great job Eddie!
I’ve looked for this since it aired!!! Thx so much!!!
dj ashba was very insightful, wasnt expecting that
You got me, LOL!.
I don't know, but Axl seems like a pretty nice guy here
He's a nice guy, always so polite during interviews
judging someone's character from a tv interview is obsurd.
@@bradbutlerI don’t think it’s absurd at all. He’s talking normal like he always does, and seems rather genuine here.

"I cut down on late times out of concern for the crew" LMFAOOOOO way to make yourself sound like a savior like a true lunatic.
What are you talking about? He did a good job taking responsibility for his bad behavior. Clearly, he's reflected on himself and grown as a person
also hilarious if you know the backstory of this interview, it happened like 3+ hours after the show ended, they kept eddie waiting a few hours

Only the singer is left from the original band at this time? That's a solo act.

They should have called this the chessey "metal" show. They never really dived into the genre and only talked shit pre 90's.
That 80's metal show
They never got the chance.
