- Here's my guitar cover of Never Coming Back from the anime Violet Evergarden (GUITAR TABS & SHEET MUSIC link below).
This show has some of the most beautiful animation I've ever seen and Evan Call's music is incredible. I'm definitely planning on doing some more covers from this soundtrack and I've been thinking of releasing a Violet Evergarden album or EP at some point.
My life has been incredibly enriched by the musical and artistic work of the Asian community and I want to thank you for your amazing contributions to the world. In the past year, there has been a huge rise in racist, anti-Asian sentiment in the United States, culminating with the horrifying events in Atlanta. This has to stop and we need to put an end to racist beliefs. I stand in solidarity with the AAPI community.

@fahimir5373 you are correct! Once I found a good tuning it fits on the guitar well (though still very challenging!)

@@coolfactfam1353 It's on my list. I listen to soundtracks while I walk my dog to get ideas of songs to cover and the Your Lie in April OST is stunning. Definitely gonna do a cover from that at some point in the future. There are just too many good shows and too little time!

how do you edit your harmonics to make them sound like that?
I don’t do anything too special with the editing, what you hear is what I’m playing. I use a bit of EQ to fix troublesome frequencies, reverb to add depth, and then compression and a hard limiter on the master channel to boost the volume.

is it possible to play it in standard tuning?
Not for this arrangement. The tuning from low to high is D-G-D-G-Bb-E. I really wanted to keep some of the harp voicings so I had to get creative with the tuning
