I went to the movie just to hear Grace sing it in the theater. What a happy song. Grace is great at sad songs she wrote and happy songs as well. She is so fricking good at everything she does. I Listen to here each and every day. I get up every morning and check to see what Dax has done with Grace stuff. Also like the other things Dax does with Grace. Interviews and such

Great reaction....again! -- I agree, on this version the production is really excellent. The lyrics were nice, as you said. But they are IMO a bit predictable given the story line of the movie. But what is incredible is Grace's voice and the genius skill with which she uses it! Again, just as you said. When it came out, I repeatedly put it on repeat multiple times, again and again. For me, this is Grace's song. It is absolutely mesmerizing. It is one of my Grace favorites, as well, but part of the reason is actually that it ISN'T written by her. This song showcases how incredible her voice is and the way she knows how to use it, because not being a cover, there is no original to compare it to. She didn't write it, so we aren't distracted by what she may have meant by this or that line, word, etc. It is entirely about her voice and it is sublime! You have to wonder, is there any limit to Grace's talent, at all?

Truly, as I said in the reaction, Elton John came to mind concerning the genius of converting mere words, other people’s words, to extraordinary music and a vocal that just reaches right into your soul. daX, I know you like the Zack Sang interview. It took place when Grace was promoting this and the running joke during the interview was that Zack coulnd not get the name Wonder Park right over and over (Wonder Pack etc.)
Reading the earlier comments I can see that you got more of the back story already: Grace contributed the vocals only; recorded in one very short session over two years ago. But like everything race sings, it only comes alive because of her incredible vocal skills. The cover photo was actually part of a photo session in the California desert during the filming of her Stray video (shot in late 2018). It's a wonderful song, but I'm not sure Grace really considers it "hers" as she never performs it and never talks about it. I got the impression that Sony-Columbia's deal with the film maker was that her releasing it as a single was part of the deal (not just having it in the soundtrack).

Hi Dax. Great song. I don't know is others have mentioned that there is another arrangement of this song called "Hideaway Medley". The orchestration is more classical and Grace's voice a bit more natural and less processed. It's a really great recording.

From the animation film called wonder park. I think the little girl and her mum built a fantasy amusement park and the girls mum died of cancer while building the park and I think that's when the song starts. Please correct me if I'm wrong
