I made this today and it was amazing! I used cinnamon apple sauce for the egg replacer so I did not add the cinnamon. I also used swerve brown sugar for the sweetener. The only optional ingredients I added were chocolate chips and walnuts (I felt ok adding chocolate chips since it’s a pretty healthy recipe, lol). It was the perfect banana bread. I love everything about it!
This wrkd SO well (2022)! 😍 I've tried a few oat banana breads & they R always dense. This recipe is soft & spongy, worked really well. I even left the egg replacement part out & still perfect 😁
Glad you liked it! It stays good for 2 days at room temperature in am air tight container and about a week in fridge... oats tend to go stale very quickly, it's better consumed fresh
Just tried it! I’m enjoying it with a cup of tea its easy to make It took me 40 min to bake, 2 tbsp of honey was perfectly fine as I’m a low sugar freak haha it still tasted sweet

Sometimes it comes out perfectly with the best texture, and other times it comes out too moist and gummy. Any idea what I might be doing that is causing the results to change so much? It is good either way, but when it comes out well, it is absolutely perfect! I just need to figure out how to always get that same texture.

120 ml water + 3 tbsp (approx. 30 grams) ground flaxseed
