Picked up Luigi’s Mansion 3 yesterday.
I found a mint copy of Rival Schools at my local game store and picked it up based on your recommendation from your “Games You Can’t Find” video and I’ve been having an absolute blast with it playing with friends!
Straight-up, I have almost every Nintendo Power stored perfectly in my closet, I see them every day while I'm selecting what to wear. They bring the fondest memories of a time I wish I could revisit.
I love that you showed them, they're so important to our video gaming culture.

This week I picked up Star Ocean The Second Story R and Dragon Quest Treasures because they were both on sale. I also preordered Grandia HD Collection physical edition.

Helldivers 2 is without a doubt the most fun I have had gaming in a long time. The vibe of the game is just immaculate, they really nailed what they were going for.

I went on a binge this week and got Trinity Trigger for PS5, Dragon Quest Builders 2, Dragone Quest Heroes 2, the Secret of Mana remake and Atari Flashback Classics Vol 1 for Xbox
The Usagi Yojimbo comics are still ongoing and still amazing!
Last week I bought an Xbox 360 for the first time. I’m playing Armored Core 4 on it.

How are the old Armored Core games? My introduction was Armored Core VI. I'm about halfway through it but like it a lot

FF7 Rebirth is so amazing that I think it's a dream come true. I am loving every moment of the 60 hours I have played, and I'm still in chapter 11. It's clearly a very nostalgic game made with a lot of passion and I didn't expect it to be that good, I had high expectations but WOW.

Rival Schools is completely underrated PS1 game.

TMNT Shredders Revenge is so damn good, and having Usagi in it has been a blast, I have the Ultimate NECA figure of him, one of my favorites. I also love the PC Engine/TG16! Great video as always, happy gaming!

Johnny I hope you can speak one day about how you and your wife cope gaming with parenting, I have a 1 year old baby and we don't want her to watch any screen so I just play after 10PM, sometimes I cannot play cause I am falling asleep!! I am thinking about buying a ps portal. Best regards
I have 3 kids and one television. The portal has been a game changer for me. I use it daily.

I also have a 14 month old daughter…I play most of my video games during nap time when I don’t have work (rarely) or after 11. I’ve been really enjoying shorter games though! Recently played Firewatch and Edith Finch because I could tear through them over a few nights. And then I have a longer soulslike I keep going back to.
You could also buy a switch. Idk what games you enjoy but the switch is a very solid option as well
Get a steamdeck, not a portal.
You can do everything a portal does (PS5 streaming) with the added benefits of the steam store & ability to install emulation software for retro use.
Loved the Nintendo Power days so much My friend had a subscription growing up and couldn't wait to go over his house and read the magazines so fun.
Love the Nintendo Power collection. I'm not sure which box mine is in... or which closet that box is in. Seeing the covers on yours gave me a gush of nostalgia... and it makes me want to unpack closet boxes at random. Happy Easter--

I picked up star ocean a second story r for my ps5 this week and I've been addicted to it.
I just started playing Helldivers 2 with my son and his friends yesterday. Oh man, it is a BLAST! Yes, it channels Starship Troopers, and a bit of Terminator as well. Its so easy and fun to pick up and dive into a mission for a bit.

Neutopia is such a great game. I've had a loose copy for 20 years. My first experience with Usagi Yojimbo was playing the Commodore 64 game back in the 80's I really loved the music.

I recently bought Dragon Quest 11, Triangle Strategy and Tactics Ogre. Lots of fun!

Love the old Nintendo powers. My dad had stacks and stacks of them in his closet and he kept them for years before he sadly got rid of them. Would love to have them in my collection to reminisce over.

I've been delving back into racing games with NFS Unbound & The Crew Motorfest. I always forget how fun these games are, if only for a few hours a day.
I picked up Vagrant Story for the ps1. I beat the game when it first came out and it was the hardest ps1 game I played. It's unbelievably underrated. Brings back many memories of this extremely difficult game. Such a dark story as well.

I have picked up some collectors editions of jrpgs (Unicorn Overlord, Silent Hope, and FF7: Rebirth) also I bought some print on demand old school D&D modules, Old School Essentials adventures, and supplements for use with the Shadowdark RPG system.

Interesting a neon sign, I thought that was a vinyl soundtrack record at first. Nice new stuff man. My latest things I picked up are The Rise Of Ronin, Princess Peach Showtime, Alone In The Dark, and Tekken 8

I wasn't a huge fan of the firts Helldivers but the second is in full 3D? The first was top down...so the second one is totally different? That makes me more excited to play it
I picked up super Mario wonder on sale and man it is an absolute blast ! I can’t help but get all the boxes ticked on every course giving me a bit of replayability
I just got my first Balatro runs finished. Love that game. I'm playing Unicorn Overlord and trying to delve into Granblue Fantasy Relink.
Some nice pick ups there. Picked up Turrican Collector's Edition which has some call stuff with it and Cannon Dancer (Osman) and some other Switch stuff. Finally got around to buying The Ninja Saviors on the eShop and wish I bought the physical when it was very cheap.

Surprisingly, I picked up an import copy of rival schools last week. We had a Toronto video game swap that we have every year. Also, picked up Vangant story for five bucks at my local flea market. Then I got burning Rangers and guardian heroes for the Japanese Saturn. Lastly, I picked up nice mint in box colecovision. Module one adaptor to play Atari games.

I picked up an oled screen kit for my Gameboy Color. I'm really enjoying how good it looks now.
I got Pocky and Rocky on PS4 during a trip to Germany. Although it was a really cool find, I ended up swapping it for the Switch version locally as that was a more fitting console to play it on!
Woo-hoo. New happy console gamer!!!! I just beat Shenmue 1 from your recommendation last week. Freaking love that game!!! Just started Shenmue 2 a few days ago, and this time with the Japanese original voice acting. It is definitely the way to go for that game.

FF7 Rebirth. I just re-played through part 1 again to prep for it and am 12 hours into Rebirth. Absolutely loving it.
I bought Ys 8 physical copy. I had played it in psplus extra cause you recommended it so many times and I simply fell in love in this game, so I decided to buy a physical copy ;)

No new acquisitions, but I recently started playing Albert Odyssey on the Saturn. DAMN, that game's fun!!!
Recently got the MemcardPro2, Moza Shifter/clutch pedal, Unicorn Overlord, KOF13 (Switch), and Devil Engine 😁
While visiting my sister two weeks ago I picked up a copy of the PlayStation version of Resident Evil 2 at a game store for $60. That's considerably more than I wanted to pay for it, but I haven't had any luck finding a reasonably priced copy online, it was in beautiful condition, I like supporting brick-and-mortar game stores, and I have been wanting to play it for a while. I'm popping it in for the first time tonight, psyched to see what all the hype is about.

I picked up Unicorn Overlord Monarch Edition for Switch and just ordered Ni No Kuni 2's collectors edition for PS4. My Japanese game collectors edition collection grows hahaha

Rival Schools is awesome! I might have to pickup Neutopia for the Tg-16 if I find one at a convention or ebay perhaps. Also gotta love the Nintendo Powers I have a few stacks of those and they do make you feel so awesome!
