Chris trust me I’ve spent a lot of money to get rid of/ quite down the exhaust rasp and finally found the solution I added 2 extra resonators that are for boosted cars and 2 drone pipes on my big custom mufflers like the ones that come on the Helmholtz exhaust and did data logs with Hussain he was impressed because it didn’t reduce that much boost and didn’t add any back pressure
Dm me your set up. I’m thinking about adding one large Helmholtz by my muffler

Love tomei, just add a mid pipe resonator from vibrant and i bet it would smooth it all out for you. Love the car, makes me want one bad.
Thanks and yea I’m either going to add an ordinary resonator or a Helmholtz somewhere. Something is telling me to try a Helmholtz.

Man, I've been contemplating selling my Q50 for a newer M550 or M340. I just need an ZF 8 speed in my life, but these Z1 Turbos are calling my name. Still not sure what I want to do.
ZF’s are nice. I wish our VR30’s had it honestly. Give the Z1 turbos a try you’ll love the way it pulls.

Does the TC lock up? Seems like the tack is bouncing around way too much for TC to be locked up.
No. The only time I see the TC lock up is after a tune flash, but I unplug the ECU for 1 min so it doesn’t do that. I don’t think the trans is very happy when it locks up.
Are you planning on getting the AMS dual lpfp?
Not really. I’m not having any fuel issues. Maybe in the future.

I like the exhaust, but I need to try and tone it down. It’s a bit too loud and raspy in a certain area. That is going to be my next focus when I get back home.
Once that gets dialed in it should be perfect.
@@ZillaFullBoost I agree man I’m not trying to hate either it’s a beautiful build and I have a ‘16 Q myself. Vibrant resonators would go a ways. Just too much rasp for my liking but a beautiful build nonetheless
