Nice video, Nishant. But I think it is a responsibility of Indian youtubers to highlight the difficulty of tracking the half-hour timezones with budget GMT watches such as this one (Seiko 4R34, etc.). I recently got a Seiko Deploy without being aware of this issue!
Exactly! I was also looking for a gmt watch to track a second time zone but found out that gmt watches, even the Rolex GMT master 2 which is the holy grail gmt watch doesn’t do half hour offset time zones. The only ones that I know can do are Parmigiani Hemispheres, Blanc pain gmt half and Oris big crown pro pilot gmt calibre 114. If you look at other alternatives, there’s the analog world time. This is even worse as Indian cities are not listed at all and we have to set our time 30 mins back or forward! Or sell your house and buy a vacheron Constantine world timer that has all 37 time zones!😂 So if you want dual time zones, a Casio with world time function is the only way. Or if you have your heart set on a gmt watch like I do, compromise and set the gmt hand to either 30mins forward or 30 mins behind. Or else, pull a Schwarzkopf and wear 2 watches, one on each wrist!
Yes the watch looks beautiful and is value for money which almost every Seiko watch is, but this one is a caller GMT, not a true GMT. Still its a good watch.
I had mentioned earlier that some might not agree, but it is considered affordable by many Watch enthusiasts. I agree with you as its not for many Indians
@@nishantsvision007 Not really. India is in a time zone which has 30 min difference (GMT + 5:30). GMT watches are useful for tracking a timezone which are different by hours only. Not sure how to track minute difference. With Indian time marked by the GMT or the main Hour hand, you can only track a few other time zones like Australia (not all time zones in Aus), Canada, Afghanistan, Myanmar and Iran.
Good explanation

Thank you for the feedback, I would definitely keep this in mind I wasn’t aware of it either.
@@nishantsvision007 Thanks, Nishant!

By the way Nishant, forgot to add in my previous comment, nice video, very well done!
Where to get this type of Jubilee bracelet for seiko 5?
It comes with this specific model but you can buy a knockoff version from Amazon I suppose.

Yes its an office GMT and not a true GMT
I just stopped watching it when he said its 45k. 45k & affordable doesn't go hand in hand with most average Indians.

10 bar not 100 bar anyway going good
Sorry I noticed it only after posting the video, thanks for noticing it
@@nishantsvision007 I will run and buy anything with a 100 Bars of water resistance. Even if its some trashy quartz
Is GMT watches even useful for Indians?
If you have anyone else abroad or you visit home from abroad then it’s useful.

Also then there are those fake Rolex, always, in case u want the original stuff 😂
😂 But buying an original Seiko GMT is better than a fake Rolex.
