If someone is getting a quartz watch then go for one and only casio, they have watches for tight budget to expensive ones and are the G.O.A.T in digital. Best budget mechanical will be alba or if can get hands on a good old hmt. After that there are the seiko watches, citizen and at the top swiss time pieces.

Hi bro, What is your view on "zeppelin watches"

Only few things that kept away seiko 5 gmt from becoming great in terms of proportions which are lug width, I think 20-21 mm is that sweet spot and the thickness should've been 12.5-13mm, otherwise I love the jubilee bracelet the dial the gmt functionality the lug to lug, lately been thinking more about the seiko shog-urai

I’m thinking I might get a Zeppelin. Whether it’s a quartz or automatic. In my opinion, they are nice and more unique and not common as other German and Swiss watches. Plus their distinguishing looks and dials look really cool. I wouldn’t mind buying at retail as long as I like the watch and am happy with it. And always buy what you like to enjoy!

Back in 2003 I had saved up enough money to purchase a Luminox Navy Seals wristwatch. I was a young man at the time who had just turned 18 years of age. With my $250.00 I had walked into the Sharper Image in a mall in Miami, FL. i bought the watch and was happy. A year later I had signed up to join the U.S. Army. It was August 19, 2004 and upon departing for basic training at Ft. Jackson in South Carolina I did not take the watch with me. After graduating basic training I departed for Ft. Lee in Virginia where I would then comment AIT phase. And so I asked my mother to mail me the watch so I could have a timepiece handy for my continued training. And so I received my Luminox watch in the mail and could'nt be happier. But one day in training the watch vanished. I was so upset, it turned out one of the spring bars popped off while I was riding in a troop transport truck. I was livid. So 18 years later I wanted to own the same model as I did back in 2003. I purchased the watch once again on ebay and received it shortly after. This time around I wanted to replace the bands with a NATO strap. This was the best decision as low and behold the same exact problem happened. As I was wearing the watch one of the spring bars popped off yet again but this time the watch did not fall off and get lost, the NATO strap saved me from history repeating itself. The moral of the story? Put a NATO strap on your luminox because for some reason Luminox watches have this flaw of spring bars failing.
