    I've been doing this for about 3 weeks now and it was hard to start with but has gotten easier. I'm noticing a huge difference in my mobility so thanks Annie!

    I have just subscribed and have enjoyed your vid today. Thanks for that. I experience tightness in both hands (as in water retention tightness) when sleeping at night. I have a feeling my first rib is protruded as the area just below the collarbone is raised. Would these exercises also improve the location of first rib ?

    Your channel is just so amazing! I have so much more flexibility and strength since I've started doing your videos. For years I've had cold hands and numbness in my hands when I sleep on my side. Just one time through these exercises and I can feel improvement, but I'm going to keep doing it because I know I'm still very tight.
    Thank you!!

    im not sure I have tos,a physical t told me so but nuerologist said something else as I have numb sensation(its a steady 24/7 discomfort gets worse when I touch things) hands bilateral 3 years,i cant believe how I endure this uncomfortable feeling,i don't have diabetes nor b2 deficiency,numerous mris ,I will do these great band exercises to help( I did get emg too,told I don't have carpal tun but sometimes I think I have a combination of things ,is that possible, these exercises will help with something ( I do have a lot of spurs along spine from mri and arthritis more in lower back and not in neck anyway thank you again !!

    • @AnniePilatesPhysicalTherapist
      @AnniePilatesPhysicalTherapist  4 года назад

      Yes , sometimes it is the tightness of your muscles on your scalenes and pectoralis muscles could cause these . NVC testing is needed as well to make sure you have this because MRI will show from the spine usually . But if the impingement is on the brachial plexus , MRI will not show . Let me know how these exercises will go . I have a beginner’s program with discussions of the reasons why it happens ruclips.net/video/I5YWVaCW0zA/видео.html best of health 🙏❤️

    Is it advisable to strengthen chest as you do in the first exercise if one has tos ?

    • @AnniePilatesPhysicalTherapist
      @AnniePilatesPhysicalTherapist  3 года назад +1

      THe first exercise is the external rotators of the shoulders not the chest, the band targets the upper back not the chest muscles

    • @heartchakra2

      @@AnniePilatesPhysicalTherapist ok thank you. So chest should not feel the pull right ?

    • @AnniePilatesPhysicalTherapist
      @AnniePilatesPhysicalTherapist  3 года назад

      @@heartchakra2 yes, try not to compensate with your chest muscles.
