I don't know if you knew but the conversations are improvised based on a basic outline of the script. I agree that the natural laughter adds so much more to the show.
This is honestly the bast part - on a show with really a lot of good parts competing for the top! Not the laughs themselves but the fact that the preceding joke is always so good it can make even a professional comedian laugh on the spot! The laughs themselves are OK too I guess :D Definitely better than some inhumane bunch of laughs from a machine like in Friends or TBBT.
What an incredible show. It’s making me realize that all the kids that I made fun of in high school for liking it were more interesting, more intelligent and had better taste in entertainment than me.
I lost interest in a girl back in the late '90s because she said her favorite TV show was this really stupid new animated show that I had never watched. It was called "South Park". I was (and still am) a total dumbass.
Julie’s voice is so lovely… Stanley and tge bar scene is so funny I was howling I can’t… the awkwardness was so funny I just can’t I replayed it so many times!

Why is it that on pretty much anything old, there is always someone in the comments making reference to how it's so much better than the "crap" today? lol
Because the older you get, the more you realize that everything today is just crap compared to the everything back then. Take for instance the 70s.....those were the years to live in! Reality TV. I honestly think the world would be so much different if MTV hadn't stopped playing music and started with The Real World. It all went downhill from there.
What you do is, you wait ten years and _then_ watch today's stuff. It'll be great; so much better than the crap they'll have 10 years from now. Getting old is an art.

In fairness, an infected fingernail is actually as common as acne. It's nasty but necessary. When you breach the nailbed, it has to defend itself. It's very sensitive area to germs, it has a delicate balance. It's kind of because the nailbed has never been exposed to air or whatever (something like that). But I have a feeling the whole thing was made up. Paronychia. It does actually smell pretty strong.

My fav part!!
I love how pissed off Dr Katz looks in the show's title sequence.
Makes her own clothes? What does that mean? - I love this bit, they're really chuckling, it's so good to hear human emotion
Yeah, and also his listing of the different women from the bakeries, and then saying he made them up
"Oh yeah? Well Susan's DEAD! Na-na-na!"
I absolutely love that they left in the takes where the voice actors laughed

The joke about dating the girl from the record company was amazing.
You see, kids, there used to be this company called Columbia House...

Ah, subtle wit & humor. How I miss you. How it evades the shows of today...

Its back, but only in audio. :)
You could always watch 1. Home Movies, 2. O’Grady or 3. Bobs Burgers. Basically the same thing.

That “Heffrey” Ross is hilarious.
I think that's how he says his name in Spanish 🤔
I was half asleep when he said “Name & number? Are people leaving other data instead?” And lost it scaring my 5 yr old twins 😂😂😂💜

"I'm lying on the floor curled up in a little ball crying." Poor Ben. Dr. Katz: best laugh therapy out there! Love Dr.Katz!
Oh my god, Ben... seriously... "AND I'M GONNA RUIN IT!"
Home Movies is the closest thing I have found that's like this in any way.
:)
Dr. Katz -- light years ahead of the crap today.
yeaah it's still ahead of it's time like 20 years later
This was a prototype for Bob’s Burgers.
amen
It's not ahead of it's time. That makes zero sense.
Nah. This is a much different format than Bobs Burgers.
I had a huge crush on Julie.
If I drank at her bar I'm pretty sure I would jump over it
