Nice video. San Martin makes nice watches but The Submariner homage by Cronos would have been the better pick. They make both date and no date versions. They come with optional PT5000 and SW200 movements and their clasp is almost a clone of Rolex. In my opinion, the best Sub homage there is.
I would disagree on some parts of the review , i used to buy homages but now after buying a few , owning an original design feels special , you can wear that watch on an important ocassion in your life , i probably would never wear a homage that looks very close to the original(taking some design choices is fine though , this is how watch i industry evolves) , but i would like to say that i liked your style of review , straight to the point , good pacing and concise . I would recommend adding timestamps as well , overall great presentation brother .
Dude, your words mean a lot. Thank you. And for the feedback about chapters. Good idea. I do agree. Ultimately, originals offer a truth that can’t be denied and have real heritage, not just the look of it.
@@theONEwatches713 I would agree , I do love san martin though , incredible quality and finishing , Pagani fails in the finishing part of the bracelet . I wish you the best .
Well you picked a cheaper San Martin which isn't going to be as nice as a more expensive one. Also you saying that Rolex uses white gold and whatnot is accurate but isn't accurate to the watch that you're just showing. It's 904 stainless steel versus 316 stainless steel only difference is anti-corrosion which most people don't care about. So they're both stainless steel watches so the materials that are being used are the same essentially for both watches. It would be better if we got some more accurate information on reviews. And a better comparison maybe don't pick the cheapest of the San Martins
@Monschu yes they use white gold when the case is made of gold. But when it's stainless steel it's stainless steel on some of their models. Nice try though
@@musik4u343 the submariner has white gold around the indices. Hardly noticeable and hardly justifies the price tag, but white gold nonetheless. So he's correct. So not really sure why you find that hard to understand.
personally? no. Why? 1. these watches make me feel dishonest - people cant even bring themselves to be honest about what they are, instead dodging the fact and calling them a "homage" (in the same way thay people that buy fakes call them "reps") 2. its like wearing a constant reminder that I cant afford/access the watch I really want. I cant see how spending a couple of hundred bucks to feel sad makes sense.
Most luxury watches aren't worth the money anymore. I dare you to go buy a tudor pelagos 39mm and a seestern homage. Tudor is just not worth the $5000. It's more like $1500 when you compare the two watches and the quality. The homage thing is just mindless yapping from the start. By your definition you are not allowed to wear any Rolex watches because they copied Blacpain and Zodiac. Get a grip on your life dude.
no luxury watch is worth the money and I completely agree that if you choose watches like you'd choose a vacuum cleaner or microwave then a Seestern is the perfect watch for you.
Correction, there is a no date version SN0111

Balanced review 👍 PS. would probably be better to compare with the more refined San Martin SN019-G which can also be had both with SW200 and PT5000.
That's what I said...seems like he had a specific agenda for this video.
That rehaut reminds me of deep dish pizza. This should not be an nh35 model, they should make this in pt5000 at least.
I agree. And you’re making me hungry lol.
God!!! AMZWATCH Who would have thought those gorgeous watches go for that low!!!
sorry bro, but hhey make a no date version too, i have one, they have it milsub style and mercedes hands too
Wow you’re right. I don’t even know how the heck I missed that.
No end of video.
My bad. I’ve been kind of forgetting an outro to my vids.
With watch crime the way it is, I’d hate to be mugged over a homage.
So true. A Rolex has more shine than San Martin but I guess it could happen. I’d be like hey hey hey it’s an homage look.

Really terrible looking logo on SM watches. It’s a big block of an ugly “under a bridge rushed graffiti” style.
Logos and brand names can be so hit or miss for sure.
@theONEwatches713 100%, some of these names and or logos look horrible and make their watch look ugly. Could do a whole just on that...
