I personally run the leather case on my s22 ultra since it doesn't collect lint and dust like the silicone case does and I prefer the leather feel as is on top of the patina after a few months of use
Note: the silicone case not only gets dysty and dirty easy, it also makes your pockets go inside-out if you have it in there and take it out. And the sweat of your hands leave disguasting marks on the case. I currently have the forest green silicone case for my s22 plus, and I'm planing to buy the leather one in the same colour.
@@DineshThapa-bo5mh I agree as well, the pocket issue drives me crazy and I'm not even talking about the sweat thing. I often find myself with greasy phone unable to properly clean it so I don't feel like I dip my hand inside of a can full of oil. Disgusting. Another thing, you remember the reinforcing around the usb port? Broken + my protection glass broke because the case became loosy and the edge did not save the screen from breaking. And the small little hole on the top? Yep, you've guessed it, the exact spot, where the reinforcing is missing, it ripped.. At this moment I might just throw out this case and buy the leather one. At least I won't look like an complete idiot in public transport with inside-out pockets next time I pull out my phone...
I just really dislike this leather case. Three main issues: - It makes phone a lot thicker (I think every case does, even those "slim" ones - the S22 itself is a lot thicker compared to S10 with curved screen :/) - Feels extremely cheap in hand - smells like a leather, but you don't get that feeling of touching leather book. Reminds me of touching styrofoam. Each time I touch it - I don't like it! Never had this problem with old silicone case for another phone. This itself makes me want to either not use it or find something else... - It's not black, but grayish - even more prominent in real life! + Was not cheap at all! Not happy with it, was expecting something else :(
@@DionMedia I can't return it now, so maybe I'll like it in a while? :D At least it smells like a leather! If not, why not get another one in a while, this time with better research :o
The flimsy part near the charge port with the silicone one is so annoying, I'm paying €30 for a piece of silicone that was probably 50 cents to manifacture and that part was overlooked, pretty sure its a design flaw. I'm certain that piece is gonna rip off with my case sooner or later, I'm grabbing it and it feels like it will snap off at a slight pull
Hi Tom, depends a bit. Apple leather cases varied a bit over the years. I would say that the latest models are a bit more grippy and textured then before. When comparing them with the S22 leather case I would say that the Apple cases are a touch better
The silicone cover was awful for me. In 1 month it began breaking apart. Wasn't expecting that from an OFFICIAL case. Gonna try leather case now. But don't recommend the silicone case to anyone
@Nemanja Lapcevic yes, I am using it and very satisfied with it. It's maybe a bit expensive, but I managed to get it during discounts and didn’t regret about it
very informative about case color " including the black which i have here " ........so what are the other colors ? you dont have to say there is a black case when you are holding its as you speak just give the variant colors instead .
The silicone case is bad. The silky smooth feel of the silicone disappear pretty quickly with use and you can see the wear on the edges, mine even have a small rip at the corner after a few months. The silicone then become slid resistant like any silicone, which mean taking in and out of pocket is annoying because it drag out your pants pocket as you take out your phone and turn it inside out. For some reason, my phone actually develop paint scratches on the edges after being inside the case for a while. Lastly as someone else mentioned, this silicone cover collects lints and dust.
I was buying Samsung Silicon case for S21Fe and now jm stopped buy and i will buy Ringke Oynx Case for better feel Thanks for honesty review of Samsung Silicon Case for S21Fe
Yeah it really gets dust like a lot. But I always clean my phone and case everyday, especially the camera lens. Maybe it's based upon how you handle the phone.
Big thanks to Ridge for supporting the channel! Here’s the site if you want to check them out! ridge.com/dion

Hi, thanks for sharing your experience
I have silicone black and yellow but I prefer the second one, the yellow is not dusty and have a better feel in hand.
Hi Carlos, please enjoy!

great review. just got the s23 leather case
Take a shot every time he says case
Well, it is about two cases:)

Hi, thanks for sharing your view. I see it a bit differently, especially the color. Hope you find a good case, because we do need them:)

Really hard to take off too. I snapped the thin part on the bottom above the usb port while trying to take it off...
Leather case does not have rasied enough edges, which makes it less protective yet leather case is more premium.
I've watched three videos about S22 on your channel and I really appreciate it. Thank you for all the informations that you said. Regards from Brazil!
Hi Lucas, obrigado! Greetings from London
the leather case is 10/10 comfort and feel.
The silicon falls apart in the corners and on the charging port area just as predicted. This is across the bored on the s22u and the s22fe.
HI, sorry to hear
Yea, same thing happened to me :(
First time to see a case review
Another amazing video, Dion! Thanks for sharing! Cheers!
And you as always thanks for commenting!
Good to see you back Dion. I like both cases.
Hi Eddy, thanks! I had a big assignment so could pay less attention to the channel than normal
Mi preferencia es por la de cuero , la de silicona, quedan marcados los dedos.
Is the silicone case easy to scratch? I recently bought a clear case and it gpt scratched by the vibrations of my my car phone holder.
Hi Oscar, yes, the clear silicone case scratches the easiest

Hey, is samsung leather case grip and feel comparable to apple's (I have the latter and really like it)?

which one is heavier?
Hi, the silicone is heavier

Hi Rustam, sorry to hear. I do hear that complaint at times. My experience has been better
Do you use now the leather case? Whats your oppionion on this case?
@Nemanja Lapcevic yes, I am using it and very satisfied with it. It's maybe a bit expensive, but I managed to get it during discounts and didn’t regret about it
Both are pretty good 🙂
Hi Aditya, agree, it is above all a matter of personal taste
Leather case is hard to remove
Baru beli siang tapi tapi malamnya sudah patah di bagian USBC Portnya gara-gara sulit membuka handphone nya dari casing, duh mengecewakan
I bought these two wallets together😊
Thanks just bought mine in Samsung store for 25qr ($7) s22 grey leather case❤
Leather case is better than silicone case. I know what I'm talking about ;)

Hi Jhon, thanks for the feedback. You have a point there
I am better Silicone Case its looks good and look like it feel good in hand i will use it when i buy s22.

Great video I'm going with leather
Hi Bryce, good choice. Enjoy!
I prefer the silicon case looks much better
Leather case number1
How's the leather case after 1 year?
Hi Simon, actually pretty well, in line with my experience with previous leather cases from Apple
Leather is more classic
UAG is much better
Hi Andrew, yes, UAG is great in protecting against drops, but the style and look of the Samsung cases also have added value
very ugly
❤️💖
Vevry vevry vevry gooooddddd
Nice 👌 video pal
Glad you enjoyed!
