Experienced RPG players always do the following things:
1. They search every path in every dungeon
2. They open every chest, including the ones they know are mimics or monsters, to farm XP and rare loot drops
FYI: Mimic is Top 3 on the lastest Frieren Popularity poll.
Only Frieren and Himmel are higher.
It won one of them, and remains the Best Character IMO. Mostly for humor value, but still.
Himmel is 1st with almost double votes of Frieren who is 2nd.
This shows the strength of the hero

Because the first stage test involved a lot of death battles between teams, for a lot of the examinees it likely fostered a lot of suspicions and resentment for people in other parties, and that is probably why so few of the examinees were willing to work together with people who were not already on their first stage team.
Notice the side-eye Lawine gave to Richter as she and Kanne refused to join Denken’s group.
(The guy who went in alone of course was just a douche, since he dumped even his first stage. As well as an idiot, since his teammate Methode is an absolute beast…)

the mimics are literally no threat to her apart from messing up her hair.
that 1% chance of loot is worth it every time because there is no risk of injury even if the mimic tries to eat her.

I feel you on the exploring part lol when i played dark souls i need to find every item every weapon even if its just daggers i need to grab them lol
would be funny if in the next episode Fern and Frieren just bought a mimic with them and chuck it inside the room then the clone of Fern would enter the room and scold clone frieren for falling for such a trap.

Frieren suppresses her mana and magical attacks to the point she uses only the basics as shown from the last fight. My question is if the clone is the perfect copy of frieren would it be a copy of suppressed frieren or 100% full power no suppression frieren??
frieren can choose to unsupress her mana, so can the clone

The copy has Frieren's memories so it's fair to think that also knows that concealing mana is a great strategy to deceive foes.
She can do whatever Frieren can do. And Frieren uses only basic spells cuz is enough to the mages from this era, now she will facing an ancient mage as strong as her.

I think the clone can replicate her skills but the power/mana of the clone cannot surpass the spellcaster(demon).
Note: just my fun theory, and i dont wanna know if im right or wrong. No hint or spoiler needed

The only thing i miss are the eyes of frierens clone. it would be MUCH cooler when the clone looking down like the entrance from frieren against aura, when she arrives Auras Battlefield and lügner remember who frieren is. This "no mercy" eyes. Holy shit i wouldnt shit myself. This is a brutal fcking Cliffhanger of death. But now we know why no one passed the second exam xD
