Anything when the camera rolls I suppose but there no denying there is problems with the services these days and it saddens me to know that there people out there receiving shockingly bad services, no follow ups or anything leading to people ending their life because no one talks to them after a sudden loss.
I love how kind they were to the daughter. I’ve never been in that situation but I hope if I am one day that my family and I are treated with such kindness.
Words can't explain the reality of what you're in and going through at that time. You just comprehend that loved one's time is done, over, ended. There is no more time for you and that person to share. No more words, no more meal.
My dad died on the 24th of April 2024. I found him. He was 58 and I was 32, now 33. We had to perform chest compressions until the paramedics came and they worked on him for 45 minutes, but he never came back. I understand the pain this lady is feeling and it's so true when they say no one wakes up expecting someone they love to die.
I have enormous respect for the paramedics and how they looked after the daughter. My mum passed away suddenly four months ago and in that moment me and my sister were in total shock, like the brain had shut down. The paramedics even contacted the local funeral home for us.
Death is a fact of life and yet it seems so unfair. No matter how good you were; no matter if you were the purest “soul” in existence, we all go. It’s awful.
may she rest peacefully, sending love to her family. unfortunately, we lost my mum in a similar way, just different causes. my mum had insomnia and had been awake until 2/3am, so we thought she was just having a long nap as it wasn’t unusual. it got to 6pm and she hadn’t woken up, so i went in there and she was cold and wasn’t responding when i called her. the paramedic declared her dead & then the police came. she was 52 and about to become a grandparent in a months time. will never forget my family’s reaction, and even now it doesn’t feel real. it’ll be a year in november. her medications interacted badly and basically put her to sleep, so i’m hoping she just slept and didn’t know what was happening. miss her so much, so i can really empathise with this lady.
So sorry for your loss. I had a horrible nightmare about finding my dad dead in the bathtub. It took me a little while to recover emotionally when I woke up, so it happening for real is unimaginable. Virtual hugs being sent your way.
So similar to what happened with my mum and its a massive shock when you find them like that then the police, ambulance, undertaker and a post mortem it was 13 years ago and I will never forget it I lost it was inconsolable as were all of us .
You can see she only sat down to have a sandwich while changing her bedding, to know she died while doing a mundane task. Really puts life into perspective.
I dont know why people say tht the ambulance is not needed to attend this death body jobs they need to attend to care for the people left behind as the people left behind when their loved one passes away there is a severe lack of support for the people left behind no one seems to care bout the loved ones left behind at all
I know how they feel. My dad passed away suddenly in 2019. My brother found him in bed, cold and according to a police officer when he was found he would’ve been dead a few hours at least, my brother even tried CPR. I’ll never forget going into his bedroom where he was laid and seeing his face, it was horrible and it’s an image I’ll never forget, he also had to go to the coroner because of his sudden death and he also hadn’t seen a doctor in the 28 days previous, the postmortem examination had found that he died from left ventricular failure, congestive cardiac failure, ischaemic and hypertensive heart disease which I didn’t know he had and COPD which we were already aware of
Hi. I can totally relate. I walked in n found my mum not breathing in July 2022. All I remember was her face and colour first thing I noticed her colour 😢. I did CPR for 6 mins waiting for ambulance I’ll never forget it I laid with her for 3 hours until the coroner arrived worse day of my life was so unexpected as well saw her night before and gone the next day I visited her house every day till it was sold a year ago. Mum was my world n I still feel so alone 😢

@@ashleyyoungs6252 Not true this is what CAT5 is made for, an emergency ambulance does not attend dead bodies just so we can waste the best part of two hours filling out paperwork and making phone calls. This is GP work.
@@pewpew4545just think about the way you word things!!! You may well work in this world but writing comments like “wasting 2hours” is not helpful nor kind. Hope you’re never in this situation as speaking from experience, it’s stressful and traumatic.
Well, something like this obviously low priority but they can be called away if there’s literally anything else. It’s not like they have to stay. It’s also not a cost thing, my dad is a GP and he got paid around £120 to confirm someone is dead, and to confirm death you need 2 GPs so sending out GPs costs £240, while an ambulance that is already out can do it for a cost that has already been accounted for. I think they know how to schedule things to only send an ambulance when they are otherwise not needed, and to send a GP if they can’t afford to let an ambulance go. You have to appreciate the costs that are always there whether they do something or not.
Bless the ambulance workers, taking care of the family and the lady with such dignity and respect.

If they are believed to be deceased, an ambulance shouldn’t be attending. What a silly dispatch, obvious CAT5 Material.
they need to be confirmed by a clinician before the coroners come to retrieve the bodies.

Why would you leave your mom alone in a house
The daughter didn't live with her mother. The mother was 77.
You shouldn’t be forced to be bound to your parents forever. They had you without your consent they can’t then expect things from you
Because they live there? You expecting her to just stare at her mum 24/7 for her entire life?

Is that call handler on drugs the first thing you ask is is the patient breathing
That's the police calling a direct regional line for the paramedics, not the family calling
