I can't believe Mamma Mia, the ultimate feel-good movie, is cited in the beginning but is not in the actual list or even in the honorable mentions! Preposterous!

At least it's watchable, not like lala land. I guess that's were voice casting was. I mean people give grief for mama mia for bad singing... But not lala land. I love Emma Stone, but she really should not sing or dance

"Mean girls"-because all characters,even mean got a chance to grow up,"My best friend's wedding"-the same reason,"The devil wears Prada"-you can watching all this beautiful clothes,but the choice of main character is very optimistic,and two movies more serious,but a can't help-really, always lift my mood:absolutely classic "It's a wonderful life",and the movie, which I can call classic now "The Shawshank redemption".The tone of this last one is much more serious,but the ending is a example of great victory of human wit and spirit.That's why ,I think,so many people adore this movie.
I think Hairspray deserved a mention at least. It's so cheesy but in a great way. By the end of the opening song, I'm always smiling
I couldn't agree more! It's a sugar bomb of pure joy. I watched it with my parents once, and even my grumpy old father who HATES musicals enjoyed it. And it's got Michelle Pfeiffer, what more could you want?

Mamma Mia! or Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again is not on the list? Who did this list? I mean, there are a lot of different opinions, but Mamma Mia is the happiest movie of the world. Every time I am sad i watch the 2 movies. Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again is my favourite movie. I had vertigo this week and i watch Mamma Mia 2 and made me feel better

I agree however Judy Garland was treated horribly on set which is probably why it’s not on here
marvel tea that’s true, but don’t think it’s the reason for not being on this list. It was 1939, a lot of horrible things were happening. That doesn’t take away from the pure excellence of the movie.

I remember watching La La land during a very difficult time in my life....
The ending was so bittersweet but I honestly felt a lot better after watching. That’s definitely one of my favorite movies and a movie I always watch when I’m feeling sad and need a pick me up

Hairspray. Love that movie. After my grandson watched it, he now starts his day by singing 'Good Morning Springfield' out his bedroom window. Finally, the male I've always dreamed of - one who breaks out in song when he's filled with emotions.
Call me weird but Pitch Perfect literally makes me happy when I watch it on TV.

The Princess Diaries basically made my realize my love for Anne Hathaway as a child her and Lindsay Lohan were my idols growing up, so yeah I make it a priority at least once a year to watch The Princess Diaries and The Parent Trap.
Most were on point, but I disagree about LALA LAND. I didn’t care for the film at all.

My top 3 are in here - Parent Trap, Legally Blonde, and The Holiday! But I think the only one that was missed for me is Pretty Woman!
I think I also turn to the loving arms of ‘The Wedding Singer’ when I need cheering up. It was always my favourite to get at the video store when I was growing up and even more when I found out it came out the year I was born.
Suddenly 30 (aka 13 going on 30) is another one, but that one I have certain memories attached. I remember going to the movies with one of my aunts to see that film and it has just always stuck in my head and makes me happy.
Also, I remember watch Hook whenever I was sick so that’s a good one. Oh, and Robin Hood; Men in Tights
Congrats, this is like 'playlist for sad 30 year olds' because Bring it On, The Parent Trap, Love Actually, Princess Diaries, Bridget Jones, Legally Blonde, Clueless... all movies I watch several times each a year when I'm depressed. I don't consider myself someone who likes 'chick flicks' or romance movies (kid movies are a definitely yes though) but these! The are the best.

I’d have to say it’s a huge toss up between The Parent Trap, The Holiday, Bridgette Jones Diary, Princess Diary’s, Spice World, and Legally Blonde. I grew up with these movies and now, because of personal experiences, they have an even more special place in my heart since I relate to a lot of them. Movies, man- they are incredible. 🥰🥰🥰
Bring It On was actually ahead of it's time it was one of the first movies to deal with racism and cultural appropriation in a positive way. It was an EXTREMELY political movie, but nobody seems to remember that part!

The Holiday is my all time favorite Christmas movies. Jude Law was insanely hot in that movie, and of course Cameron Diaz is gorgeous as usual, love this classic pairing!
I got so excited to see “Bridget Jones’s Diary” on here, and near the top. I have this movie (and 2 & 3) on DVD and have seen this movie a billion times. Still love it, and enjoyed the books as well.
A Cinderella Story, The Lizzie McGuire Movie, 13 Going on 30 and Pride and Prejudice (2005) are my go to feel good movies.
My go-to is The Proposal with Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds but this is a pretty good list

I love the movie Love Actually. I watch it every Christmas and every Valentines day. It just seems fitting for both. And I also watch it in between whenever I am feeling down. It is definitely a feel good movie for me. But my favorite feel good movie is Enchanted. ❤️❤️ The innocence, the cast, the story, the music and the dances... I love everything about it. ✌️

it's pretty underrated but i absolutely love Chef. a chef gets fired from his resturant so he buys a food truck and travels across america with his son and best friend. a fun, feel-good road trip movie and it will definitely make you hungry!
