Bend it Like Beckham, Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist and Thirteen are excellent AND underrated.
Lisa Blue thirteen is not underrated.

Bend it like Beckham isn't underrated. It was extremely popular at its release, has a musical version and launched its stars careers (even though Keira had been in Star Wars before).
Thirteen was a good movie but it does make me see just how impressionable young teens are. So many girls in middle school watched it and instantly started dressing like them, cutting, using drugs, not care about school. I know not all teens are that stupid and impressionable but many unfortunately are.
Accepted, Eurotrip and Sky High should have been higher. Do appreciate you giving Girl Next Door the love it deserves...

'A walk to remember' was a very sweet redemption story with Mandy Moore and Shane West. I truly don't get why the critics hate it so much.
My fav movie when it came out. Still one of my all time faves.
Sky high was always well appreciated in my house and I'm so happy about that.
Even Nostalgia Critic (welp, just as Doug Walker) gave a very fair Disneycember to this film by saying unpredictable great things about it! If we were E-Rod, we'd pretty much compare The Incredibles (2004) vs. sky High as if they were the greatest superhero films like MCU films (not all if them, but most of them), which the DCEU films, the The Amazing Spider-Man duology and Fant4stic are widely considered MUCH less of including by people like myself.

I would also suggest The Perfect Score. When I was waiting for college acceptance letters I watched that and Accepted over and over.
I remember always being really curious on seeing The Perfect Score especially since the trailer plays on my Mean Girls DVD. I just never saw it over the years.

@@yukijames1321 is it? I'd never heard of it till my friend from england sent it to me as a movie recommendation. And, I'm pretty into english movies. This was a rare exception. But I did like it. I just wouldn't say (at least in the states) it's very well known.
Carlie Bartlett is seriously one of the best movies of the 2000s. More people should watch it.

Eric Fasold it’s funny you said that. It’s the only Lindsey Lohan movie that I ever saw in theaters and I just watched Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen last month and I even did a review over it and mentioned that it taught the lesson to be nice to bullies two months before Mean Girls came out. Honestly though I always felt like that message was a lot more stronger in Mean Girls but I still love how it was dealt in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen. It’s funny that you mentioned that. Lol
It got its acclaim at the box office in its time.

I related to "Accepted" . I think it spoke to a lot of teens just graduating high school and dealing with the pressures of transitioning to adulthood

I'm so glad Saved! and Accepted are one here. They are two of my favorite movies and nobody talks about them! I also like The Perfect Score, but this is a great list! I really want to watch Manic it looks so good!

Also Raise Your Voice and Sleepover are super underrated. Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging is another fave although it’s not as raunchy as others
I love Raise Your Voice. I cry at the end when she is singing and sees her brother every time I see it. Such a heartwrenching ending.
Get Over It. Because who doesn’t love a Shakespeare retelling?

Not underrated
Whip it is one of my absolute favorite movies. It is completely underrated and I’m so happy it’s on this list! Ellen Page is a completely underrated actress and Drew Barrymore did so well with this movie! And her character is hilarious! And a big shout out to Juliette Lewis who was a badass! She also does not get the props she deserves.
Whip is why I joined derby for almost a decade

‘Saved’ was the perfect #1 choice. It might have been a comedy, but was also an incredibly powerful movie. It had so many beautiful messages, amazing natural chemistry and absolute perfect casting.
I was waiting for Mysterious Skin, but it wasn't on the list!
Accepted is actually my favorite movie! ❤ some of the philosophies that come from that movie about education have influenced my teaching style, and how I view my own graduate education (with the intention of becoming a professor upon completion of my degrees.)

I watched Eurotrip on a plane once and the stewardess came passed right at the "Chica!" Scene. I got reamed out for watching porno in public. The dumbass wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise. Jokes on her. I turned it off politely and then emailed the airline with her name and a thumbnail of the movie and rating. Got me a free flight out of it and not really sure what happened to her.🤷♀️

Jassy Jones only movies I knew from this list were Accepted and Sky High. Though I’ve never seen Sky High.
Teen movies without smartphones were the best
Saves has to be one of my most favourite teen pregnancy movies. I know a lot of my friends had never heard of it before. And I stumbled upon it by chance. So glad this is number 1.
The Girl Next Door and the Perfect Score were good
I had my stepson watch Saved last week, it still holds up and he loved it. It definitely deserved #1.
The girl nex door should be top 3 definately. You think it is just a stupid teen comedy about the nerd guy falling for the hot girl but it is MUCH MUCH more than that! I cried and laughed with it❤️

2010s early gen z kid here! I can definitely vouch for Charlie Bartlette! Saw it recently on a rainy day, and had a blast.
Sky High should've been on the list ad not just an honorable mention. I got the DVD for it when someone threw it out at a parade and it's one of my favorites.
