    #assassinscreed #assassinscreedlore
The Shocking true history of the assassins from assassin's creed is actually crazy! Assassin's Creed is a game franchise based off of assassins from real history. Of course the AC series takes history and adds their own fiction, but the events from the first assassin's creed (AC1) apart from the ISU and Animus stuff.. is all real..

I read somewhere the term hashashin comes from the leader giving people hash and sending them to a version of paradise with food wine women etc and then taking them to a place akin to hell all whilst high on hash. Then they would tell the person if you want to go back to paradise you have to kill this target

It wasnt that they were on drugs when they killed their targets. When assassins were recruited, they were drugged with hash and left in a garden much like the one at masyaf castle in ac1 and revelations. There would be beautiful flowers and women and the master would tell the potential recruits that this would be their eternity if they gave their lives to the order

People were just amazed by their way of fulfilling the order from the mentor that they thought of them as drug users having not a mind of their own! Actually they used drugs to focus on their target alone and nothing else because it took them very long time to actually assassinate a leader
And there was another reason he gave them drugs
He had a beautiful garden in alamut
he actually gave drugs to assassin's and when they wake up they were in the garden making them believe that when they die this is where they gonna end up and some of the assassin's actually jumped to their death's to reach the place hence the famous leap of faith in AC games

Fitne fas ad or Jihad as the west and most of the world describe it. Originated from this, suicide bombers, terrorists all originated from this.
There's a lot more to this. Al Mualim was based off of an actual historic character. He was a Muslim but not a typical one like us sunnis,he belonged to a sub sector of it. This was the time when Islam was practically ruling the world. Al Mualim 's historical counter part was Rashid as din. He used to drug his units to get them to kill certain individuals to harness political power among the Muslims. The drug that he used called "hash" used to make people hallucinate where they saw beautiful lying all around the place and all that stuff. After they break free of its effects, they can't resist not taking the drug again. Rashid as din told them if they wanted back what they saw. They'd have to complete a certain task aka kill some important figure and further told them that they would die and go to heaven, what they saw while dragged. As I said before, modern age suicide bombers and terrorists in general were victims to this. I also saw somewhere that the leap of faith was an actual thing. Rashid ad din told them that in case they were to be captured, they would jump from a height(exactly like in the game)and that Allah would save them. Hence the term "Leap of faith"
Now I would like to conclude with saying I am a Muslim too and non of this BS is supported, encouraged or even allowed in our religion. Rashid ad din just happened to be a Muslim and not even a traditional one, he belonged to a very exclusive sub branch which he prolly made himself. And yes, he started this BS but his actions do not hold the entire Muslim populace accountable. He's a maniac. Only sunnis are actual Muslims since they only follow the last prophet.

No, that's not true. They were a political party, surrounded by enemies but in castled positions. So they would not fight the armies, but would asssassinate the leaders over and over and over. And the leaders just shat their pants and let them alone to survive themselves, because leaders would sacrifice 20000 men, but not themselves.
Anyway. The assassins were kidnapped, drugged and put in a beautiful garden in masyaf surrounded by beautiful women, food, drink, and all the pleasantries of life. When they woke up they were taken somewhere else and told that was paradise, and if they liked it, they would have to follow the leaders orders and they will live there forver in the afterlife. Hence why they didn't care about getting away and getting cut down.
They were not high on the job.

Im muslim and we learn from schoolars that Assassins were Shia sect, who actualy dont belong to Islam bc of way they believe was false and not like origin muslim believe. The leader of assassins drugs newcomer assassin then take it in room full of beautifull womens, nice food and fruit for little time. After that they give him again drug and bring him out off room and say to him that was paradise where has he been. And they give him mission to kill and after murder they let soldiers to kill him too to goo to that paradise. Before murder they always live and be close to person who they need to murder. That paradise room is their motivation to do missions and murder. Most of time they are on drugs, not drugs like today drug. The leap off faith they perform after their leader tell them, but they dont jump on bush and dont survive after jump. That way leader shows other leaders how strong and brave mans he have.
The bad thing for muslims thats all forbidden (womens without marriage, drugs, suicade jump to death and some others believe that they have) and acording to Islam teaching the paradise is far away for them.
We muslims believe in paradise Jannah with beautifull wives etc etc but we need to earn it with prayers daily, good deeds, help others, and best death is death defending islam, soo we believe after fighting for defending Islam and die that way we goo direcly to paradise without judgment day and there is special place for that muslims in Jannah. There are similarity on some things between assassins and real Islam but alot thing asassins do whats forbidden and alot dont do whats ordered to do by Islam whis is crucial to be muslim.
To be muslims you must do thing not only have muslims name or call yourself muslim.
Thats reason muslim true BELIEVERS dont fear to fight and die. Bc of that they are alozt stronger and braver in fights face to face. But today like Israel only use rockets and bombs bc they are scared and Quran say that about them, that they can only fight with muslims from.behind strong strongholds, walls, like today tanks, button rockets from distance etc etc.
