For Gary, working with turbo dork paints ive had the best success with them airbrushing them over a gloss black. Im still hunting for a additive to help smooth then out when hand brushing.
Regarding painting greenskins: I've been using tan spray basecoat (Colour Forge Trench Brown) then contrast greens for the skin and contrast browns for leather. Paint metals as you would normally. The tan base has been leaving a nice effect on the skin, and works nicely with leathers and furs and whatnot. Other details can be picked out in whatever colours you wish. I was able to do 42 goblins in a weekend, not Golden Demon standard, but better than basic tabletop.
I wonder if salute is getting more popular because of the coverage on social media. Also I games day/Warhammer fest this year. I really need to get my epic stuff painted and play a game of it.

Orc painting tip: brown does work well as a basecoat, there is a lot more leather and cloth than there is skin.

There is something in the water in Nottingham its called Lime.Seriously pour a glass out the taps ,looks closer to milk then water.
Speedpaint: Orc Skin. Do black/white zenithal base, and then slap that on. It's good speedpaint, very smooth, and looks good!
