Is the floor composite or plywood? Friction hinge door possible? Is the Grey water 2 or one tank (I might have missed that) Good Stuff : AZDEL, Floor plan exceptionally planned/laid out, materials used in roof GJ, and of course the exterior and interior looks fantastic. Now for the nit picking: how about a slightly larger black tank say 50 gallon, painted front cap, and that's about it.
I would like to stress at this length (once in production) this model will be in the top 3 for replacement of my current high mileage 11 year old rig. Keeping in mind price point of course.

I am in love with this unit! You can actually make the bed. All the prep space in the kitchen, space next to stove top, the little extras like spice drawer, paper towel drawer, trash cans, silverware drawer. An actual coat closet. So awesome 👌 Of course my husband too likes this unit and all the storage, the windows, location of valves, well I could go on and on. We did not see anything we don't like. Such a great unit! Clean, modern and homey. Good job Brinkley 👏 👍 This has now become a favorite.

This is so close to my perfect RV. Don't mind the colors at all, they're something different than everyone else is offering. I also like the chairs. I am so tired of brown. The gold faucet isn't my favorite but I can live with it. Would like to see the cool kitchen extras in the model G available in the Z, like the tip down knife storage. I absolutely love the bedroom. Only thing there is I would like to see drawers in the nightstands.
Also something to consider, there is a market for 5th wheels 30' and under. Not necessarily lighter weight, just shorter.

A low shelf under the bed, close to the head, a place to put a cpap. The upper shelf in the 3100 will not work. Also, a headboard (decor purpose only) would be fantastic. This is my least favorite bed, but the rest of the coach makes up for it. [and again, please offer different color for theatre seat & dining chairs].

This is lovely. First impressions at your request. Love the colour scheeme, so bright and light, and the fabric on the furniture is so attractive. Really like the storage in the side tables beside the loveseat, and I'm glad it's a hide-a-bed. That's a great kitchen, very easy to work in. The storage over the couch and slide are a great touch. Lots of lights, so things are lovely and bright. Not crazy about the colour of the faucets, but that's the tiniest of nitpicks and not worth bothering about, especially if other people really like it. Love all the outlets in the kitchen. The drawer in the kitchen table is so useful. Love that bench. So many drawers in he kitchen! It would be better if the spice drawer was a little insert that you could take out if you wanted to, but it's a great idea. I like the trash/recycling drawer. I love the way the island is set up. I think I'd add a fold-up counter extension on the island. The adjustable shelves in the pantry are a great touch. I like the draining rack over the sink. Great cupboards in the bathroom. Baskets in the shower are nice. If a seat could be put in the shower that would be a help. That's a really pretty bedroom. Great storage under the bed. I like the bedside tables a lot. The battery storage space is so large and useful. The railing on the outside steps is great and useful for those with balance issues. Love that there are two awnings. I'd better stop now 😀.

Brinkley has knocked it out of the park! I love the modern, clean, simple lines and they managed it without making it look cold and "sterile". I'm usually not a fan of that style kitchen faucet but I'm really digging that one. The pet dishes are such a simple, appreciated feature. Very smart! The storage gallorage is phenomenal in this one. I believe they thought of just about everything! This one is perfect! The only ding I give it is the 4" fart fan which as Josh always points out, is an easy swap. Just need a bigger truck to handle it. ❤❤❤

Thank you Brinkley and Uncle Josh, we're falling in love with what we've seen from Brinkley so far and Uncle Josh has definitely put out the best videos showcasing these units. We've seen a few from another RUclips RV reviewer (based in Florida) and they were a comparative disaster.

  • @derick-smith
    @derick-smith Год назад +10

Brinkley is shaking things up. The little details (paper towel holder/rack, spice drawer, pet food holders, table/dinette seat/ottoman hybrid thing) really take this thing from great to special. They nail the windows better than anyone. They manage to make RV windows look classy. I didn't think that was possible until I saw their first unit.
The first word that hit me was homey. It feels more livable than most RVs. It is warm without being over decorated. It is a very nice balance between feminine and masculine plus the whole color palate could compliment just about any colors you add yourself. I see a company that wanted to launch with as high a bar as possible. I'm sure it isn't perfect but it looks as close as I've ever seen on this channel and I'm embarrassed to admit how many nerd videos I've watched... well in the hundreds easily!
One crucial point though... You have to put the full fart fighter in that bathroom 100%. Tiny toot twisters need not apply!!
Congratulations Brinkley, this thing is spectacular.

I am so in love with the Brinkley lineup! They are nailing it in every area. Thank you for breaking away from glass in the cabinet doors - so sick of seeing that in RVs. Every area has been maximized for space, comfort, and a high end look. The only suggestion I have is get rid of the side-by-side refrigerator. The refrigerator shelves are not big enough to hold large pans used for marinading meat you take to the grill, large pans of food for potlucks, or baking sheets. If you give me an oven, I’m going to bake, and that refrigerator won’t work. Otherwise, every time I see the Brinkley models, I think “that’s my rig”!

Impressive. Really homey. The soft colors are so easy on the eyes. Again, the windows!!!!! Sleek, modern, no overly busy window valances. Other manufacturers need to pay attention! This is how you do it. The magnet closure on the upper cabinets is not ideal in my opinion. Especially in the rear of the coach where the movement is more pronounced during transit. Items can fly out and make a mess. The rectangular window behind the stove is really nice. The dual trash can pull out with the paper towel holder is to die for. Super convenient! The textured wall and back lighting in the shower is next level. The J hooks in the bathroom look much nicer than the octopus fight club hooks (lol). The under carriage lighting is a nice touch. Classy all the way around. Thanks, Nerd!!!

We own a Half-Ton Cougar, but we both found this Brinkley to be the Perfect Execution of space, and innovative ideas in a short (less than 35 feet) 5th wheel. Execution of the kitchen/living space was done exceptionally well. It does not feel fancy, and yet it has the small wonderful features such as:
    - perfect placed yet hidden silverware drawer which I did not know I needed until I saw it
    - removable/stowable paper towel holder - Such an awesome small detail, perfectly nailed!!!
    - TPMS integration (OMG YES - this should be the standard in the industry)
    - power outlet in the pantry (is that an access panel to that pantry outlet behind that plant on the coffee bar??)
    - perfect placement of the kitchen island
    - window dressing looks absolutely amazing; such a clean fresh look without looking like it is from the 70's
    - the small bedroom white mask window for privacy on the driver side (love this!!!)
    - sealant and roof construction, again these should be the industry standard
    - last and definitely not the least item on this list, the storage in this unit and it's versatility. Amazing!
If there was one thing we would nit pick, it would be the shower. We would really like to have a fold-able seat in the shower, and really do hope Brinkley will have this as an option.
We have already decided this will be our final camper. Excellent Job Brinkley!

Chic coziness is my first impression. To be clear: I'm viewing this with the eyes of a) a camper b) a future full timer and c) someone who has Brinkley at the top of their list already.
I love the light colours and the sleek, clean lines of the cabinetry and fixtures.
That warm gold still grabs me every time I look at a Brinkley - love it!. I do love a fabric minimalistic styled sofa. I dislike the pouffy overstuffed easy chair look as well as automotive vinyl. I want it to feel like a home, not a car or a boat and this nails it for me.
    Flush floors - yes please!
The kitchen....okay since I don't believe in perfection this will be adorned with an "almost perfect". I feel like this could have used the waterfall extension on the island but still, gorgeous and functional. Not too much of a fan of the brass tones of the hardware but that is easily swapped out. It does add a lovely warm tone to the room but I would worry about longevity.
I'm with you on the asymmetrical island sink but yeah, this island doesn't need that. Wow.
The windows are already so European-y (it's a word...now) influenced with the surround and the blind/screen that I would love to see the euro acrylic windows on this, Normally frameless windows will turn me away from a model but this has sooooo much going for it I am more than willing to overlook them.
Awesome bathroom design and that bedroom is nicer than some apartments I've lived in, no lie.
This size is great for most of our parks up here but I can easily see this being ideal for fulltiming as well.
I would definitely require a robust solar package and quite a few inverted outlets inside. With solar running air cons etc having a 2 way fridge option would lighten the load and lessen generator operating times IMO.
As someone who draws a blueprint and cuts out a template just to decide where a bookcase will go, I appreciate the amount of "thought-time" that went into these models. Everywhere I look I can't help but be admiring over their ingenuity and creativity.
    Simply beautiful.
Thanks Brinkley for letting Nerdboy film this special peek - and thanks Josh for bringing it to us!!

Nice 5th wheel. The thing that sticks out to me and many RV manufactures do. Which I don’t like is they put that nice window in the rear wall and have part of the ladder covering part of the window. Like the gold plumbing fixtures. Great it don’t have the Schwintek slide. It also the better entry steps that dump the dirt when you lift them up. Be nice if the make a no slide Travel trailer with dinette in front of rear wall with large window. Like the Outdoors 20BD. I love the smaller size but I wish someone would do an unusual back deck. Older people don’t want to mess with a toy haller door. My idea is to put captain chairs with a removable table on the back wall and put French doors (or something similar) then a pull out deck that sits under the living room that would hold several lawn chairs, fenced with adjustable supports for different terrain. We’re thinking of going full time within the year and we love the detains you use in your builds.

This is a great model. As someone who is looking for close to 30 feet, I appreciate all the extras Brinkley is doing.
PROS- layout is great, bedroom is perfect for me (not a fan of King beds in RVs), LOVE no step up in the bedroom, bathroom is great- appreciate the shower not being radius, 12V fridge- only way to go, huge island, and the two trash can pull out for access, the smart dining table with a bench AND chairs (why are we still having to choose one or the other when the combo makes the most sense), cloth couch- finally!!! The windows and no valances- definitely screams residential over RV, And of course all the storage including the "junk in the trunk". In my mind, it helps even out the weight.
CONS- the gold accent is a turn off. I couldn't live with it so hopefully it's optional, not a fan of the televator TV, I also don't like the kitchen counter touching the TV- using the space where the cabinet & drawers are to create a pantry makes more sense & separates the space, why are RV manufacturers still not building dishwashers (18" narrow or drawer option) into units- they use far less water and there is space on these bigger islands, the pet feeding dish would really only work for cats or small dogs. Bigger dogs should eat off elevated tables. Nice thought but I'd rather see a dishwasher in that space, and of course the biggest pet peeve- tiny fan in the bathroom - just No!
Appreciate your thorough walk through of all the units you show. And yes, the road mode is important. I don't want to fall in love with a unit then find out I can't use it for a quick overnight stop.

Josh, I am an inspector and recently had a chance to see a Brinkley in person at a local RV show. Very impressive. I really loved the fact they are using all Pex with brass fittings and provide sliding access door for service or just to check on everything ! About the only thing I thought was half assed was the stickers on outside. Several areas where stickers were overlapping each other. I'll take a few minor things like that if it comes with the upgraded plumbing standards versus the competition.
Overall a solid unit and I loved the material they were using in storage areas on the flooring.
If they can maintain the quality while mass producing they will be a force to be reckoned with...

  • @jasonb9913
    @jasonb9913 Год назад +2

    You asked for feedback....
First off, as someone nearly 6'4" THANK YOU for the tall upper deck! Road mode is awesome. This is the layout I've been eyeballing in the Solitude 2930 but a bit better than that I think. Fabric couch is great.
    1. Kitchen faucet should be black/dark chocolate color instead of brass-ish. Too gaudy for me. Maybe even silver or black cabinet hardware instead. But these are all easy to change myself.
    2. Televator should be replaced with swing arm and have storage behind the unit like most other of these floor plans. That would allow a bit of exterior storage behind the fireplace even. As a future full timer that currently is working remotely, it would allow for seating options and using the TV as a monitor instead of just being stuck at the dining table to work.
    3. Optional ceiling fan in main space
    4. Add space for a multistage water filter like ClearSource that covers both city inlet and from water tank, or at minimum label the first pipe after the water pump but before the water heater that can be cut and plumbed into such a filter so entire system is protected.
    5. Make inverter prep and wiring actually support both legs as if you using dual 2x120 MPII inverters but I know this may be an issue for most installs
    6. Move solar controller higher up or minimize wiring that comes out of a panel in the middle. Makes upgrades and moving things around easier.
    7. Slide toppers as standard

I forgot to ask Brinkley about their AC wiring for the inverter prep at the show. Looking at the distribution panel in the 3100, it looks like the inverter prep only feeds the critical circuits. They have three mains in the distribution panel, two 50 amp and one 20 amp. I'm assuming the inverter prep feeds the 20 amp main from the inverter.
If using the 2x120 MPII, your going to tap into the 50 amp shore power input, anyway. Now, having that run to the front of the trailer would be helpful.

I love Brinkley's Z3100, when i retire in 2 years that's what i'm going with for full time living and travel. I have a few suggestions for this or any of the other models.
    • This model; the dinette that would be movable so you have more space to sit on one side or the other would be nice.
    • In the bathrooms above the toilet on other models, maybe put cabinet doors that open to the upper cabinets next to the pantry in the kitchen area so you have more storage (short people can't reach the tall cabinets in the kitchen).
    • Since the steps going up to the bedroom are open, maybe offer an option for an entrance to a space in the basement where you can have a cat litter box with easy access to clean, or another location that makes sense, so the litter box doesn't have to be in a living area or the shower.
    • Maybe instead of having shelves go all the way to the floor next to the toilet, leave a space for a trash can.
    • Maybe an option for a generator and/or air compressor.
Thank you Brinkley for making a beautiful, quality product.

Do not like the fabric sofa, nor the hard seat in the booth (good for storage, not for sitting). chairs at table do not look comfortable for extended sit time for those who are working remotely. Pass-thru storage is nice and well lit. Really like the tinted windows and privacy shades, and the outside storage on the back - perfect for storing oversized lawn chaise chairs without them hitting mounted components. Thanks for the sneak peek - definitely a contender depending on final price.

Holy smokes. Hubs and I love this. First impression, loving the color pallette, the matte black sets off the metallics, backdropped by the super neutral light greige. It's grounded by the black appliances and sink. The coffee bar and retractable tv is a huge selling point. Disappointed theres no King option however this is the first RV to make us reconsider a Queen! The real MVP is the window shape and trim. They're so residential. The aesthetic is so refreshing, the dinette chairs especially. GENIUS touches like the hidden storage in the dinette table, end tables, and paper towel/trash pullouts, and they even covered the control panel. Thoughtful design touches like shaker cabinets, and actual nightstands, and sconces instead of the pushy clicky vehicle lights...sold. It actually feels like home. Bravo! Criticisms: none.

Basically having bumper pull trailer hight but with a gooseneck hook up and having some storage over the gooseneck instead of under the bed at the same time keeping with a lower profile than a fifth wheel for a bit more airodynamics.

This rv in 99% perfect for me.
The one thing is a person who is interested in full-time RV life is that the Island needs to be accessible for dining. Some people would argue they would rather have the dinner table I would say get rid of the dinner table put a desk can you eat at the bar. Other really good ideas that accomplish this exact same thing is creating a bar that faces out the window because more space is going to be appreciated. The bigger couch could go in my opinion and a desk could go there and you can keep the table to some degree but turn it into more of a bar that faces the window rather than your partner. 81122 sit at a normal dinner table they would just carry an extra table and then set it up outside on those nice days but for everyday living eating at a bar or eating in front of the TV is more typical. When it's a couples coach like this it's not necessarily meant to have children there and potentially if you did have children you would have babies so it would be nice to have something that was more open so that if you did have a baby you have a place to put the crib. The two-seater should be a three-seater with a fold down option in the middle.

I wonder if that was just more trick of the light. Sometimes the camera doesn’t see them how the naked eye does.

Wow. Done right. Maybe add a shelf above the dining table.

Love almost everything about this! First one to rival the Grand Design 303 for us! If we were to change anything it would be to make sure the window over the stove opens. Yes, we realize the one behind the tv opens but if the tv is up do we really want steam wafting it's way past the back of it? The other thing would be great if it came with an inverter or maybe an inverter/converter combo so all the outlets work in the rig. Ok, ok, if we want to be REALLY picky...give us an option of a desk instead of a dinette. This is truly a great rig. Brinkley is impressing us! Crossing fingers for a similar price point to the GD303.

The big vent fan in the ceiling may also help with kitchen exhaust and means you don’t need a screen on the kitchen window to try to clean
But I also like airflow windows so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Had a walkthrough yesterday and absolutely love the build quality on the Brinkley 2900 model!!! They need to make an under 30ft model. If this model was under 30ft we would have purchased yesterday! Thank you for your in depth honest videos.
