Further more, when you read the letters, especially the one that tasks you with killing the high elf woman in Cheydenhall (who is a member of the black hand), it describes her in more derogatory terms, calling her a bitch or something to that end. Lucian would provide you with crucial info in a way that was not personal.
The one female guard in the whole game, and she's a required kill. Now that's funny. Glad I got to hear the arrested dialogue in a different voice though.

Thank you Mr. Cantina. I was playing Skyrim Requiem in an attempt to avoid doing work for university and enjoy some open world RPG. I am now up to date with my assignments but your videos reminded me of the genuine joy I felt doing Oblivion's quests and going through that well constructed world. Playing Skyrim I feel vacuous... The guilds are shallow, side quests feel silly and the world puts you in a position where you are either 'the one' or an algorithm creates objectives for you. I feel so much at home with Oblivion!! While the dungeons are generated through a computer and the animations are from a PS2 era it just goes to show that a WELL CRAFTED STORY and GENUINELY SURPRISING ELEMENTS hold a game much more than "radiant quests" and "better graphics". Thank I'm gonna load up Oblivion with Oscuros Oblivion Overhaul and a levelling mod. :)

If you look at the deaddrop orders from this questline. You will notice that the note icon from Lucian is different than the note icon from the traitor. If you go to Farragut to ask Lucian about this discrepancy, he is not there, nor anywhere. You have no option but to start assassinating for the traitor. All hail our dread Father, for this is the only way.
I am in this quest now but I’m stuck with killing Caelia in lleyawin. I keep getting noticed somehow . I also am doing the thieves quild and now have a problem I have been kicked out of the thieves guild for killing members of the Draconis family . So their must be a type of bug .
Easiest way to kill Uvani is to be a decent level and follow him as he travels between cities. He will encounter wildlife like Minotaur Lords, which he can't fight. And all you need to do is watch...
Since this mission makes me feel so bad every time, I always gather the gifts she wanted for each kid and I put them at their tombstones. Lol, but I remember getting so pissed trying to properly steady all the wine bottles and tankards for the son that liked drinking, haha
Wow had no clue Matthias was gay. How meta and progressive for the elder scrolls. The way they set it up was so realistic like he was in the closet and didn't want everyone to know. That's a ton of detail for some random guy that gets killed.
@mahogany7712 I actually read a great theory that it was a hit by an argonian that escaped the torture chambers. Caelia has a key to the secret dungeon on her when other guards don't. I think the only other one with it are the Count and countess
It's my least favorite because it is a pain, broke my remaining lock picks to get into one of the Draconis home, and dealing with nosy Legionnaires, by Sithis! This is one quest I am glad to be rid of
The Draconis family is the reason why i cant do the Dark Brotherhood quests again, a sweet innocent familiy with a lovely elder mother is way past the line for me. In all the future assassin runs i do either i kill Lucien the first time he come or i stop the quest at the previous mission, and then i kill the DB members i can like Alval.
I killed Perennia and her dog saw the murder. It would go beside her body and do this sad noise :((( I felt so bad and now I'm going every few days back there to give the doggy some food and pet him :)

I know this comment is ancient and you've (hopefully) figured out how things like this work by now, but if not: the reason he avoid swearing, and the reason why much of youtube keeps things 'pg' is because certain things, including swearing, lower the amount of advertising revenue a person makes. He actually cannot curse every once and a while, because it's not about viewers' opinions, it's about his bills.

First time I did that quest he was killed by a random highwayman.
