The Speaker himself should have vacated his seat after his gross misbehaviour to Parliament.
Poor Speaker in the History of Ghana
Bagbin is becoming too pompous and arrogant in the house.He should have demonstrated humility, accept the elderly and sensible advice by Hon. Afriyie and apologize to the house for his misdirection. In fact it did not lie in his mouth.
And NDC don’t see anything wrong with Alban Babin’s behavior and demeanor but if it is Napo and NPP then it be the topic on radio and on headlines of stupid newspapers in Ghana
The speaker,s arrogance and power drunk attitude is being entertained because the NPP MPS do not put him to test. The NPP MPS should have argued with him for procedural reasons against the walk out of the NPP MP. The speaker takes the leniency of the NPP MPs to be their weakness.Hence his arrogance and nonsense

Is this behavior that he’s trying to become the president of Ghana. Bagbin rather has to apologize to the Member of Parliament than the MP apologizing to him. Am praying Jan 7 , 2025 comes soon so that he our parliament for us. He’s pompous, disrespectful, aggressive, incompetent, inconsiderate, autocratic. Harsh. Wasn’t he the one who said he could impeach the president?
Did he apologize to the president or the nation?
NPP members of parliament should learn from this.Their inability to retain their own speaker has resulted in all this.
