i encountered one of those cults around Gwanghwamun area and they asked very specific questions about my personal background even when I made clear that i am a foreigner who speaks little Korean. They took me to a cafe and said that they wanted to have a chat with me, that's when I (finally) got suspicious and made up an excuse and escaped... horrible experience...
When someone asks you for your number, answer back by: " what is yours?" instead and write it in the "Notes" part of your phone, do not enter it in your contact. It is even better if you have a pen and paper and write their number on a piece of paper. Nothing wrong with being safe.
Korea like other countries has its share of scammers. Easy to fall for when unfamiliar and only knowing the shiny images of K-pop and K drama. Great tips!
about the cults: this happened to me around 2018 in hongdae, two young ladies approached me, we had a chat, and they took me to this traditional korean ceremony and we had a meal together with their community, after which they asked for a donation. however, I dont see at all how this was possibly a scam. in fact, it was a really nice and memorable experience, the community seemed nice and they even invited me back for another meal (for free) and we had long deep conversations afterwards. am i missing something?
in 2017,while being in jeonju i was approached by people from shincheonji cult in front of the Jeonju church near the hanok village...🤣🤣too bad it was only 2 ajhummas,no young and good looking girls 🤣🤣
thank you soooo much for your videos!!! you’re my morning breakfast buddy all the time. also while i’m on traffic i just turn on the sienna channel and boom. makes my day 😍😍😍 thank youuu!! much love from philippines
Remember, SK prides themselves on r*pe culture So, don’t feel pressured or tempted to go anywhere with _anyone_ there you don’t really know! Stranger danger, damn it!
As an american, if i was in a foreign country, i will never go with or give out personal info to people i don’t know to begin with. I do this even in america. Because in america, most of us are taught “stranger danger” as children. So naturally most Americans don’t trust people they don’t know right away.
In America I saw this a lot growing up. Got use it to the point where I could spot them just by looking at their body language / clothing. Especially in their voice; when they talk you can hear the BS coming out.
Spy cameras are not normal things here and Gov is constantly searching for cameras in public toilet for years but still hasn't found one. Of course, there are some incidents relate to spy camera on the news. Just be careful, but you don't need to worry about it too much.

Hi Sienna thank you for your video
These things are so scary… But so interesting 😭😭😭
your video is very informative Thank you Sienna
So these cults only want my money? They don't want to steal my organs ?! That's disappointing 😢🤣...
03:14 maybe it's not very appropriate to say, but damn, that sounded awesome xD

Thanks a lot for this information Sienna!! 😍🤩 Is this recorded on your new camera? 😃😃
Cults and scams are everywhere.
Thank you for this, Sienna! Going to Korea in around 2 weeks with a friend, so I will beware of sketchy people and my surroundings!
Hope you enjoy your time here!

@@incase391 idk nor do I feel obligated to answer that.
@@incase391 Why are you asking
@@incase391 Hear sometimes??
Where is the rape culture? Where did you hang out at where this went down?
That should apply to everyone everywhere not just Korea. Basically, don’t trust anyone that you don’t know well yet.

great video! i think your hair is scratching against the mic so it sounds a bit scratchy lol
hi sis, thanks a lot for the caution
a thumbs up 💚
Actually basically this is very dangerous 😕
Detect the camera with the lasers and smash the camera or rip it out.
If a cult passes should one feel relieved or insulted?
Do cults also target people online through apps or websites? This is in regard to the “Bible study” approach
religious basically teach you to make limitations for ur protections. so listen to God plz
how can i join this cult?
