It blows my mind how things can be so drastically different in a global world. I think Korean relationship routines are a bit too much for the westerners, but then again, I think these differences are what makes Korea so attractive.

What’s a cute tradition that couples do that’s unique to your country? I didn’t mention COUPLE RINGS in Korea!!! Couples will buy matching rings and wear it on their ring fingers to symbolize their love!!

I don’t think there’s much unique traditions or whatever in the US aside from Valentine’s Day. Most of those celebrations I feel vary from couple to couple so it’s not set as in it’s something everyone does.

I think its really cool how much communication happens with Korean couples. Is it often surface level while dating though? How was your day etc or are deeper things talked about like things one person might be struggling with?

OMG it sounds like a lot of work and suffocating. I like the shared bank account idea as it takes the guess work out of financial contributions. I agree discussing the parameters for this financial arrangement is necessary as is a discussion about more intimate matters prior to entering into them. Thank you for making sense of all the K-dramas and reality shows I have watched.

This is interesting that there are so many days/events that couples can choose to keep track of. I look forward to that video about all such days, whenever you do make it!

I got this. With a hot KGF I know this much: pack an umbrella, bring a band aid, cook hangover soup, and know your subway sandwich menu. I got this.

I was trying to think of any cute dating traditions in the USA, but I couldn't come up with too many. Maybe taking trips together for a weekend? That seems to happen even fairly early in relationships, say a month or two. Working out at the gym or going for a run together is also something that some couples do if they're into that kind of thing. I remember going many times with my ex girlfriend years ago even when I had no desire to really run at the gym and would rather run outside. Because then you get refreshments afterwards. But overall, US couples seem to be really relaxed and casual. Almost to the point where each individual doesn't want to really step out of their independence too quickly. Big emphasis on preserving people's independence.

WOW ! Sienna, what you said were all very nice. Sadly, my ex is korean and he didnt do anything like that to me. He came to visit me in my country though but he didn't like those 100 days, anniversaries and we didn't come close to any marriage proposals either because he wasn't sweet enough, maybe that's one of the reasons we split up, but we stay in contact as friends, I guess, it just depends on the person, right? I still think though ( I hope no one will be angry )many Korean couples aren't that romantic ( just my opinion )

Hi Sienna ♥Since Netflix is doing Korean movies dubbed in english, because I'm too lazy to learn other languages, I'n been watching many of the movies but so far "Home Town Cha Cha Cha" is my favorite, but they all have been great

On Netflix, you can choose, for example, original sound and English subtitles (or whatever language Netflix supports in your region, e.g. in Finland, Finnish subtitles too).
Dubbing is a stupid idea, not able to watch IMO.

hi sis, fantastic. sis, i gained so much info. one amazing info for u. u will be delighted to know that after East asian girls, Korean guys marry INDIAN females the most. The ratio is thrice as that of American women / European women. In fact, KM + IM is 4:1. sis, what can be the reason behind that. I THINK the main reasons might be historical since the Korean queen was an Indian princess. Also, religious similarity( Hinduism / Buddhism ). Sis, if u send ur Facebook id, then I will send u all the links. Cant send all of them here. there are so many.
