Hey Renee! Myself and a few of my friends are suffering from long covid; we're having to spend long days and nights at home, mostly in bed, so of course a lot of our skincare is reduced. Any chance you could make a video for it you had to cut down your routine to be as short but as effective as possible to try to save as much energy as possible?
I suffered from long Covid for about 3 months. Do you usually get really fatigued after eating? I had to change my diet and avoid foods with his levels of histamine and slowly reintroduce them.

Thank you! I need to try the Pyunkang Yul Balancing Gel because I love the Moisture Ampoule which has that same texture. What I do is actually add a little bit of the PY Essence Toner to make it more fluid and then apply - works just as well but makes application MUCH easier! This winter the COSRX Rice Overnight Spa Mask is my go to for night time during the winter. I also love that it has niacinamide in it because it moisturizes while also preventing me from waking up with an overly oily t-zone, leaving me hydrated but not greasy, and ready for just a cool water face wash in the morning before products.

haha! Yes I find i do that with the eye patches in particular, they're not the most comfortable while sleeping!
I love that this gives alternatives to slugging without demonizing it... If you like using Vaseline, great, it's not harmful, but if you don't like how it feels or you want something fancier, here you go
I love this ! as a canadian living through 6 months of cold cold cold, this is essential for my skin health. I do not like vaseline, but use Pure Shea butter to slug....... But i feel like the Niod Vaccine will be my new try. Btw Marilyn Monroe would slug with vaseline and hormone cream....

BR Cream Vernix is amazing. I use it over their Amnotique quintessential serum.
I use a balm that's made from honey and propels which I much prefer plus it has nice oils in and it's not sticky. You take a little bit and warm it up between your hands and then massage it gently. I like to use it after microneedling.
I sleep on my stomach and I guess I must rub my face on my pillow during the night and then I always wake up with flaky skin, and no amount of hydrating products seems to help 😢
Look up the “flawless face pillow“ It’s pricey but has very good reviews
Try using silk pillow cases or satin cases that should help with the friction and drying

@@josepha133 hope it helps! If you can't get silk cases, make sure it's cotton satin pillow cases and not polyester satin

I use the hydration vaccine right before moisturizer, rather than after.
Question, I've never tried sealants or "slugging", but does it all just come off on your pillowcase? I feel like my moisturizer gets wiped away on my pillow and I just cannot sleep on my back. Do you have any tips to avoid this? Thank you!
with slugging, the vaseline just rubs off on my pillow as soon as I lay down :(

Hi Renee, as always perfect timing. Great information, thanks for sharing. I do have one question, if you don’t mind sharing how to avoid tinted sunscreen getting on clothes. Especially in winter, trying to bundle up at the same time applying tinted sunscreen is very challenging. Thank you!
I usually wrap a few tissues around my shirt collar and then remove them when the product has dried down 😊👍

I have dry skin but it's acne prone, so I tend to break out when I use vaseline

I agree. Slugging makes my skin feel like it is suffocating almost to the point of a panic attack. Same thing happens th occlusive hand creams
