"Dont spend your gems on speeding things up!" *Me, a very impatient person* O-O
Just watched this video four years after it was posted as a level 45 player and it was still helpful.
Ways to get gems
1. Make many friends and gift them gems on a daily basis
2. You can watch 3 videos per day (one video = one gem)
3. Tap on magical visitors (also make your primary dragons Elder)
4. Get Gemstone & Tourmaline dragons, feed them to level 10
5. Complete goals which reward Gems
6. Let dragons fight in the Colosseum
7. Do ten races per day
8. Send your dragons to quests (Nursery & Kairos)
9. Dragon Drop
10. Buy them in shop
11. The free daily vault chest

You *CAN* get the weather station, especially once you’ve unlocked all primary’s, because, some dragons need a specific time in DragonVale time. Weather station can help you with this.

As for the weather station. Some newer dragons you can now only upgrade to there new form if its raining. So the weather station is a handy item...

Shouldn’t you also save gems in case you breed/hatch an epic dragon that needs a habitat that can only be bought with gems? (Like chrysalis or hidden)

Hey, I have 100 epics but the ones I’m missing are gemstones and the hidden aswell as aura and monilith. What should I do.
Jack Lipschultz if you have one of the monoliths you can breed them all. I used one of my first wishes on one and bred the rest by just continuously breed them, with plant hybrids at first and then the other monoliths. Chrysalis can all be bred from each other but they each require a specific combination. And gem stones have specific combinations as well, just search it up.
Well...
If the Bring Em Back Event has returned you can use the cooperative breeding cave then use only the galaxy dragons then breed them and you can get epic dragons from just breeding
I got the Ire Dragon just by breeding the Tedian and the Eridinian Dragon (or something like those)
But....
I don't have an Aura habitat... Omfg its also a Twin 😫😫😫

@@keriscott5905 Not sure if I understand your question but: no you cant buy dragons with Sandbox. It just tells you whicht dragons you will get with your chosen pair of dragons in your breeding cave

Instead of covering 7 steps in one video, you should make a separate video for each step so you can cover so much more stuff, and it's not so long while you're covering everything.

A good way to get gems is the arena
I recommend putting you highest level dragon of that type in the COLOSSEUM (not arenas FYI) and for 20 days straight (if you get all gold trophys) you will get five gems and five times twenty is 100. 40 days 200 80 days 400 100 days 600 gems
