Really important to spend your wishes on something that will be rewarding over time!! Breeding dragons can take time, but it is possible. I wouldn't recommend using wishes for dragons for this reason. To gage what a wish is worth, spend them on things that cost a lot of gems. Buying a gargantuan and overgrown island with a wish is a HUGE help for habitat placement, using boots effectively (to get gold) and all around extra room. Awesome video for understanding the importance of wishing!

I remember going insane trying to breed a seasonal dragon so I just wished it into existence… it’s my favorite dragon, but I’m kinda regretting that now that I’m trying to breed a chromacorn. Edit: got the chroma! :D

My father and I play Dragonvale (Yeah he's awesome , he's 49) , and he has been playing for years and I was too but when I was little so a while ago I started over , meh, I'm much pro now. Anyways, he says about wishes:
1st wish: 2000 gems island (there are two)
2nd wish: the other 2000 gems island,
*Explanation:*
Youll never get to buy these islands unless you buy gems with real money.
3rd wish: Relic of the epics (1775 gems)
4th wish: The other relic of epics (Same price I forgot name lol)
*Explanation:*
Having these two means you coukd level your epics to level 20. Every relic is 5 levels.
And rules: NEVER BUY DRAGONS, YOU COULD ALWAYS BREED THEM, NO NORMAL HABITATS, AND ONLY OMNITATS. meow

My first wish (I think) was a hooded dragon, it was stupid. The other 2 wishes I remember were the overgrown and gigantic islands, as I have a very prevalent overcrowding issue.

I went to get a mystery egg that was 1,500 rift gems for the first time and I got a chromacorn dragon. I was extreme lucky I guess

I'd say another rule for dragons is those impossible to breed or buy event dragons, like the Heroic dragons, Winter Saga, or some of the Om of Noms Dragons.
Collecting all of those collectibles for just one dragon is kinda bullshit imo; that's the one gimmick that I feel is begging you to spend real money on extra event points.

I think Chromacorn is the easiest. It's because you don't have to A. Have dragon elements you can't breed in the rift and must get them traited through mystery eggs (or buying the dragon directly) or B. Having to have another dragon evolve from it.

I have quite the expanding wish list. Mainly the remaining elemental pylons, and most if not all the missing island themes and pathways. Then I'll go for the dragons on that list.

I always get islands or 2000 gem Omnitat; I always keep a wish in reserve as you get 3 2/3 dragons a year
I know I'm 10 months late (I watched this a while ago) but I had no trouble getting the chromacorn dragon (I eventually got too many and started selling them) once I got a rainbow-rift dragon, so if you are going to get a dragon with a wish, get the corrupticorn, not chromacorn
How did you get those
My first was spent on a large omnitat (I call it my hive because all my chrysalis dragons live there) and my second on the twilight tower (So glad I did its awesome)

Gman, the bright wild nights came out this month and it's sells most of those dragons, the weather station, etc. Should I save up for them or just wish them?
I’d advise you to save up for them, if they’re purchasable by flowers. It’s been 3 days and I’ve already bought two island themes, a nature path, a palm tree, a tiki torch, And the Dusk dragon. I have around 4000 flowers right now as well, and I’m saving up for the Dawn Dragon. You should spend your wish on something that is only purchasable with gems, like the epic breeding cave or a gemstone habitat for one of your islands.
If you don't have the breeding island yet. And it's your first wish. Do you think I should just get the breeding island with my first wish instead of the other two islands? Thank you for the video by the way! It really helped narrow down some things. :)

You should've just saved up, it was pretty easy to get for me. Also you should've wished for something like the gargantuan island or relic/monument of the epics since they cost a TON of gems

When I first got my first wish in the Halloween event I wished for a gem dragon
Not bad, not bad. It does take a whole year for a particular one to come around again, but once it does.... I mean, you have a whole month to breed it.
I say that, and remember that I myself failed every attempt to breed the Garnet Dragon for a whole month as well as the Peridot Dragon. HOWEVER, that was when I was breeding level 10 dragons. So if you have level 11+ dragons, don't wish for a gem dragon, because it's easier to just breed it. (Now, I've gotten the Garnet and Peridot dragons easy peasy).

Nope. I think there was a bug at the time so you could have gotten it.
My most recent wish fifty days ago a wished for a garnet dragon and don’t wish for the rift ones because they can be in events like the one right now

lmao I got the lost island in the event, pretty easy to get. Only need to get about 12k event items in total (7,200 for island, other 5k can be other event exclusive things to get to the final tier)
So you can get a wish if you visit the game 100 days
But are there any other ways?
Yes, you can get them from events but they are very rare!

You can get all dragons through the random egg in the rift dont waste it on a dragon even on those he mentioned i've gotten both Corrupticorn and Chromacorn through random egg
