YOGA Basics Class for Letting Go of Attachments

    The intention of this class is just to let go and flow. We’ll be practising the yogic teaching of Aparigraha (non-attachment) in thought, word and action as we work to embody this teaching on the mat. You’ll be challenged to really look at any patterns you may have around acquiring things, hoarding even and how this may show up in the form of collecting yoga poses like a notch on the belt, adding to your repertoire of achievements.
    At a time like this when we’re going through mass upheaval to the status quo as well as significant losses due to covid-19, this is a very potent teaching indeed! When we have the knowledge and understanding that at our core we are complete, nothing we acquire can add to it and nothing we lose can diminish it. With this knowledge and this practise we reside in a space of abundance and wholeness.
    Yoga is one of the best ways to build functional strength in the body :)
