    After exams I was so bored, everybody was busy with what they love, thus they can’t chat with me. I’m interested In a hobby, but not in doing it. Like.. I’m not excited for any activity. Sooooo.. I just stay in my room playing games and watching RUclips. Sometimes I get bored with those games, and I just watch RUclips. Then... I got nothing else to watch, and I get bored again.

    • @enaanand

      exactly. the games and the yt keep you distracted slash disconnected from your soul or your inspiration, your interests. have you tried to meditate or spend some time in silence? not fun, but worth it! ;)

    I often find myself hobby jumping. I have ADHD and over recent years I’ve struggled to hold a hyperfixation for longer than a few weeks. I believe this is due to my depression and I’ve actually recently started a mood stabilizer that has already started helping the sudden loss of motivation I experience when I start working on something. I find this video to have really funny timing because just yesterday I watched a video that said to stop spreading passions and to just pick one thing and do it everyday for a year. I think it had a good point about just throwing yourself in and getting started instead of just thinking. I like your video a bit better. I’m told all the time that I know a ton about what seems like everything and I’m very animated about the information. It’s fun in the sense that I have a fact for everything, but it is difficult as I feel like I can’t commit to anything. I have so many half finished projects in my room currently and it seems like I keep starting new ones or just pick up some of them at random and peck at them for a little bit. I think it’s just a struggle with long term attention.
    Anyway, I appreciate the encouragement to be multi passionate. I struggled so much (and still do) with picking my major in university because I swear I’ve thought about going into every field there is out there at least once. I do feel like I come back to certain categories, like fabric work comes up yearly at the very least. Same with art and language. The hardest part for passion is sticking through for the results. It takes time, and while it’s rewarding, there are a lot of times that my effort felt like too high of a price for what I ended up with. That, or I don’t see or feel enough forward momentum. It’s hard to be passionate in a bubble. I think honestly that having community would make passion finding easier. I wish it was easier to do so

    • @enaanand
      @enaanand  3 года назад +3

      actually i didn't intend to promote passion chasing or being multipassionate... i wanted to encourage those people who think they are different in the sense that nothing interests them. my experience shows that i was wrong when i thought the same. and my case was extreme since i discovered that not only i had interests, but i had many of them... i believe now that all of us do. i don't think we should desperately search for a passion that we might have. i think we should follow our small interests/ curiosities/drives... and then if something turns out to be a passion, fine, if not, fine too...
      on the other hand... my thoughts about being multipassionate ... everything is great. being into only one thing your whole life, never having passions but just curiosities and having fun with those or feeling passion towards several different things... the absolute must though is to honor how we are!!! we are all amazing no matter how we are designed. the problem is that the society we live in tells us we must be one way. so, also the schools, they are wrongly put , not in sync with our nature. they push you to choose, which is absolutely wrong (for you and people like you at least), but it suits what the society needs: not unique, but uniform, unhappy us, who are going to do jobs we hate and in the way we are not wired for. in this way the society, our culture also makes us believe that there is something extremely wrong with us, if we cannot fit into its molds. there is nothing wrong with you. try to follow the breadcrumbs and honor your drives because they are nudges from your soul guiding you through life. don't try to change yourself in order to fit in.
      also, i suggest you check out the human design system. it's a modality like astrology etc... see what type you are. if you are a manifestor, you are actually born to start projects and not finish them ;)

      love,
      one. you can keep going like that, not doing any of the things you are nudged to try, but.... when it comes to the authentic soul nudges, not doing them will just make you feel worse and worse... probably until the pain of not doing them becomes stronger than the pain you imagine you would feel in the imagined scenario! that was my case ;)
      two. you need to move your focus away from 'anyone' and onto yourself slash what you want to do and do it. play. trust me after you create something (if it's from your core), you will feel the reward (it's a delicious feeling not comparable to anything else!), even if nobody else even takes a look at it. ever.

    I feel like being too much in my own head - such as ruminating on certain thoughts and mindsets with my OCD prone brain has taken me away from feeling passion in my life. Are there any things you would suggest that don’t involve being with yourself too much to get over this? Also, thank you for the great video

    • @enaanand
      @enaanand  3 года назад +6

      hi A! i think what you are feeling is actually the case for most of us: being too much in our heads (left brain) which keeps us cut off from our passions/ inspiration (right brain)...
      can i ask you why you don't want to be with yourself too much? there's this quote from PASCAL: all of humanity's problems stem from man's inability to sit quietly in a room alone.
      if we want to get out of our head, definitely the best is to go into silence. which can be meditation but there are other things that can also take us into the desired state and frequencies:
      walking for example (but not walking and keeping thinking, but trying to for example notice what's around... , even better if you do it in nature because nature calms us down on its own... beside that, it can be some activity that occupies your whole being (and so you are unable to think about your problems ;))... for someone it can be painting, cooking, even cleaning the house... also dancing or exercising...
      it's pretty unique for everyone,but what you are after is the state of calm, peace, relaxation...first. that's the state in which the free flow starts and ideas and passions reveal themselves ;)
      i hope this helps a bit... thank you for the nice words!
      i'm preparing another video on how to get inspired! stay tuned ;)

Then took one year to prepare for entrance for p.hd but couldnt make up to it.. then starting preparing for banking exams.. 2 years passed, but couldnt clear because i found the subjects too boring to focus & continue. Then i remained home for another one year doing nothing but stressing and crying all through this year. Then i enrolled for diploma in cosmetology & became a makeup artist. But its been 6 months that i had not been getting any job in this field too.. i am totally lost & shattered right now. hey Sania! first i want to say that i really feel for you, i'm sorry for what you are going through. i know how it is when you feel you have a lot of passion inside of you but have no idea how to manifest it in the physical... i'm not any kind of guru or sage.. in these videos i just share what i have been through and my insights... but as i said in this video, i think this applies to all of us, we need to go into silence first. this same thing you will hear from many big teachers as well... in order to be able to hear your soul voice and feel the inner nudges you need to have time for silence. then you follow the instructions from the inside. one by one. and often it will be a hit and miss... i have had many curiosities and pulls towards different things... yoga, reiki, branding... to name just a few... and often it turned out that the thing is not my thing... and i kept moving on... it can be frustrating, but that's the way i believe... and even when you do find something and it really is your thing, after a while life may have new plans for you... we need to go with it the best we can... one more thing... it's a wide topic, but i want to say that life purpose/es even when we are in sync with it, doesn't mean it will give us financial benefits, or maybe not for a while, maybe at some future point... however it will always always always give us instant emotional and inexplicable fulfillment which has to be experienced in order to be understood... ;) if you have more questions, feel free to ask me, i will give my best to help, although this might not be the optimal way... i might start one on one sessions... keep going! and 27 is an awesome age!!!

      Hey Sania, I can totally relate on your feelings and you are not alone! I graduated 2015 and I've been trying to find a long term job from my field ever since. Now I'm doing a phd without a funding and still trying to find a job at the same time. I'm 35 and feel like the last 7 years have gone to a drain.
      But at the same time I feel I haven't really found my passion in life. It's probably the main reason I haven't got those jobs, cause I never really wanted them. I just needed the money. But it is hard to know what I want in life, especially if I don't get opportunities to try the jobs in the first place.

      I read that every artist has these types of things that happen to them where they don’t create anything and that’s the process of creating art as well not creating anything at all. Get onto instagram and look for inspiration even if you’re copying someone else’s work. It’ll come back. You’ll get bored of doing nothing. I promise you it’ll return. Sometimes you just gotta scribble to make art. Scribe art is an actual thing. I had Covid back in January and when I got sick that’s when I made the most art. Sometimes you gotta look outside the box as well and just draw what you see outside. It’ll come. Let me know when it does.
