  • When it comes to measures of performance, nothing matters more than QUALITY. Should you disagree, just ask a disgruntled customer! While in the short term you can survive with bad quality, bad quality will ALWAYS catch up with you!
    To succeed with lean, you must be able to connect your daily kaizen actions with their impact to quality, cost, and delivery (QCD). Kaizen should have focus! And it must have impact! If kaizen doesn't impact QCD (or perhaps also safety or morale), then one must question whether you've achieved kaizen at all!
