Thanks for recommending the Vegan Curry Noodles. Will check out next time. Ya, Nazeera's kacang phool is the best in Penang! Also, some other food at Desiran are also nice, ie: the hainan chicken rice, etc.
I've only had vegan curry mee during the 9th month chiak chai week but it is usually bland. Should go and try this one that you recommended. Looks good. Hooked on your channel Bro and watching several vids a day and each one gives good info. Thanks Bro and keep creating excellent content
@@virtualexplorers6704 thank you for supporting my channel! Uncle 6 Curry mee is quite famous... he has appeared in a few of Ah Hong's videos where they help hawkers who aren't doing well.
But some kopitiam will force us to order drink lah... I guess if they own the shop I understand lah. Sometimes my kids suka order juice.. OMG kena RM3.50 and above LOL
For curry mee? I am not sure about the vegetarian version, but I can share the Penang white curry mee style. Will try to add some recipe videos in the future when I make it.
It is good for those who love vegan food. Still, it is also for those who just want to try out vegan curry mee for awhile. Btw, sometimes i watch yr vid, i see some candid or you must have forgotten something like for example, carry less money, then naomi have to back your up by paying the bill instead. 😂
Hahahaha ya lah, I never prepare anything for these videos. Just drive there, take out the camera and shoot! Sometimes talk the wrong thing pun ada. Old already hahaha. BTW these curry mee, for me, can say it is better than most of the non vege versions. The soup is really special, it is really a must try.
The food looks simple and good. Do you normally inform the vendor that you are filming them. And does the traffic of the places you film has more people visiting them later.😄
The noodles tasted very fresh and were not overcooked. I don't tell the hawkers I am filming but they can clearly see I am talking into a camera. I usually try not to bother them because they are busy doing business. If they smile and chat then I start a conversation with them. I'm not sure if traffic increases by a noticeable margin, I mean, my videos usually get around 2000-5000 views in a week, I imagine maybe 50-100 people go check out the place, it's a win. 😀
Thanks for sharing. Greetings from a Malaysian living in Australia. I would say all the foods and drinks in Malaysia are so much cheaper and better with more variety than here. A cup of coffee or milo could range from AUD 5 to AUD 7 (around RM 15++ to RM 21++). A plate of Nasi Lemak or Char Kway Teow or Laksa could range from AUD 18+ to AUD 25++ (around RM 54++ to RM 63++). If I am back spending in Malaysia I would be very happy. So Malaysians are still consider very lucky in terms of price. I think Malaysian Ringgit will continue to weaken going forward which will eventually makes the prices of things rise due to inflation.
Thank you for your input, I love Oz!!! Yes, stuff is relatively cheap here still, but we can't really apply the currency exchange though. For example a plate of noodles in Singapore is around SGD4 while in.Malaysia it is MYR6. If we convert the currencies then yes, Singapore is more expensive... however a person earning money in Singapore would still find it less of a burden to eat out than a Malaysian because we earn the same amount in our currency but pay "more" for food. But I do agree, in Australia not everyone can eat out everyday!
Yes, i heard about this place too and most of the food recommendation you featured agrees with my palate. Shall give this place a shot soon when the heat wave weather cools down a bit. Im there quite often for the chicken rice.

Prices also up here in Penang. Kopi or teh is RM2 per cup now. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
