I was going to say that but you got in first… i agree with you. Can’t remember who I heard that term from 🤔 might have been Nick Predomo , not sure but it’s still true
I’m no genius but I learned this through experience. I finally realized that simply setting the cigar down in my ashtray is the best and cleanest way to extinguish the cigar. This video is excellent information and I hope it will help others to better enjoy their cigar smoking experience.
And if you don’t smoke it all the way, you might reconsider and relight it later (provided you don’t leave it too long) it may not taste as good … but waste not, want not
We recommend relighting if you sit the cigar down for up to 30 minutes, the longer you wait the more the flavor of the cigar will be affected and it won’t taste the same
I appreciate that advice Sir. I usually smoke outside in my balcony because of my children. But now they my children are visiting family for the summer and will smoke inside on occasions. I now know to allow it to extinguish itself.
as a cigar smoker myself to be 110% honest i see no issue with this 💀💀💀😭😭😭 you bought it, you enjoyed it, unless it’s like bro in the video said and you’re in a lounge where other people’s experience may be affected it honestly doesn’t matter
I guess the cigars I have are not premium bcuz I did exactly that, came back an hour later to finish it and all that was left was ashes and little roach with a half burnt band on it. 😂
No it’s real advice. This is actually how you should do it. If you aren’t puffing on it the cigar is tightly rolled enough it goes out quite quickly, and it leaves the flavor better in tact. I’ve tested it myself.
I once had a cigar that caused a trash fire, so now when I'm at home, I dunk the cigar in a cup of water to extinguish it. But when I'm at a cigar lounge, I just let it burn out naturally
I really like the Dutchsweet Fusion cigars and the Irish Fusion, my question is what do they dip them in to make them sweet on the end that you put to your lips?
I’m very new to cigars. I’ve given up cigarettes totally but I enjoy a nice cigar once or twice a week. And did not know this. I literally did what he’s saying not to do last night 😬
Been smoking cigars for a few years, still consider myself a novice, but I can say I've never snuffed a cigar out. Thankfully I have some knowledgeable people who got me into the hobby 😅
It’s not ideal because the longer a cigar that went out sits, the more the flavor will be affected when you go to finish it. It’s a better idea to enjoy two shorter cigars if you can’t get through a full one
Does smoking in the room with all the other cigars affect their flavors? I know there’s cellophane wrappers, but I wouldn’t imagine they do all that much
If I’m ever caught in a situation where I can’t smoke the full length of the cigar, will the cigar be ruined? Will I be able to re-light it at another time to finish it? If so, what should be the proper care for the cigar until I’m able to return to it again?
Do you guys purge your cigars before you set them down? I do that ONLY when I’m letting them go out and I may relight them in an hour or so. I’ve heard the smoke in the cigar will go stale and affect it during a relight…
I usually take a couple huge puffs before I place my cigar in an ash tray and then leave it on my buddys porch when his wife is away for the night so when she gets home she asks him about since she hates him smoking them at home

Cigar store casually tells you to leave your cigar to burn down irony
The cigar will go out if left alone
It does go out. They go out sometimes when smoking them.

Blow the smoke out of the front before you do this! Clear out the tobacco so it doesn’t get ‘stale’ smoke left in the wrap

How to put out a cigar: by starting a housefire
Cigars go out if left alone. They can even go out while you're smoking them if you are drawing on them too infrequently
Kramer walked away and then the cabin burned
He didn't leave his cigar in an ashtray 😂
I save mine for later by wrapping it in aluminum foil, then putting it in the freezer Keeps it fresh.
If you only smoke half a cigar, can you keep/ store the remaining to smoke at a later future date? And how
It’s not ideal because the longer a cigar that went out sits, the more the flavor will be affected when you go to finish it. It’s a better idea to enjoy two shorter cigars if you can’t get through a full one
If you're doing it right, it's barely burning to begin with. This makes sense

Crazy question. How do you relight a cigar once you put it out? someone Says let it burn out then cut a bit off then relight it
If it goes out you can sometimes relight it if there's still fresh tobacco on the end. If it's all ash, cut it off just behind it and relight.
Tony always tells it like it is. ;)
You know it 🔥
Can you clip it? Or is that bad?
Better to let it go out on its own. It'll wear your cutter down much faster if you're cutting through cigars
It also damages the finish on the ash tray
