This man is literally responsible for helping me obtain my Honda Trail by pointing me in the right direction when the demand was at a all time high, and the supply was damn near dry. I'm in NYC/NJ area and there was not a single Trail available within a 900 mile radius! Thanks to this man, I literally got the fairest deal possible. MF's in Florida wanted 6-8k for it! God bless you brother, I appreciate you to the fullest!
@AnotherBangaTV glad to help man!!! Glad you've really been enjoying that thing! Get you some time off before it gets cold and haul that thing to the Catskills!
Thanks for the review. The other day I put on my snow suit (it was minus 7) and I took my trail to the dealership for its 1000km service. Now I'm ready for spring. 😊
Coming up on 2 years for mine. I've put 21,000 mi. so far. Have had no problems, just maintenance. Little tank! Thanks for all your info on these, I've used it!!
Great machine the CT-125 is designed to get out in some difficult terrain and hills and hold up to that use ! I live in the Pacific Northwest and have owned several CT-90 trail machines in the past ! Best thing Honda did was install the H / L selector for the transmission, I’ve used mine in the mountains a lot and L range was a must ! I too would like to see that feature on the CT-125 L/H selector! Great video !
I wanted the trail but could not find So, i went with the monkey and enjoying that little bike so far. Only had it for 5 days and such great fun ive had. My first bike by the way and congrats on your 3 year anniversary.
That's funny. I just ran into a similar issue. Could get a used CT125 that was about a year old, or pick up a brand new Monkey the dealer just got. I ended up with the Monkey on Friday. And honestly, after about 2 hours of rocking it up and down the gravel roads and little side trails, but I've been perfectly happy with it and smiling beyond belief.
I really like those little Monkeys too. When they get a little age on them, I may look for one in need of a bit of repair. I said about 4 years ago, I'd like to get 4 new internal combustion bikes in case the powers that be keep hating IC even after all it's done for humanity. It was the CT, Monkey, TW200 and and new CRF300L or the KLX300. Thanks for watching!! Congrats on the first bike and great choice!!
Amazing how much love there is for these mighty bikes. Maybe one day if you visit Australia you could introduce 'little red' to 'big red' Big red is a massive sand dune close to Birdsville in western Queensland & is a magnet for 4WDs & bikes to attempt to conquer it.
Can’t believe it’s gone by that fast. Great to see you doing content on it. Hope all is well. Mine is 2 already, still love it. Dependable little bike. I had the same battery and charger port issue. Put a lithium Ion battery and it’s much better and stronger. Take care Sir.💪🏼🇺🇸
@@PSBEadventures I love the channel. I grew up on CTs and XRs. Great bikes. I think Honda did a great job with this modern rendition. Better lights, fuel injection and gauges. Still fun to ride on trails. It brings back my childhood. You riding the fence rows and in the woods brings it all back. Take care Sir.
Good luck riding it until the wheels fall off 😂, I have an 84 Honda Big Red 3 wheeler that still runs great and starts on the 1st crank and the wheels show no signs of falling off !
The lack of the low range is the reason I haven't bought 1 yet. I may go ahead and put a bigger rear sprocket but the highways around here are posted either 55 or 65 mph. Even if honda went to a 6 speed. That would work. Or maybe a big bore kit. I really want 1 but I need to do several miles of highway before I get to the backroads.
Stock gearing should get you 50-55 pretty easy on flat roads. Unfortunately even with taller gearing it'll be a stretch to get 60-65 out of it. It's definitely possible but it's tough with 8hp. I big Bore kit, aftermarket cam and ecu would definitely help. I really love it, but the two speed would be nice out west on big mountain passes for sure.
@@PSBEadventuresThank you, I live in Northern California with a few acres on a side of a mountain. Not super steep but good incline. We used to have a 70's Honda 90 but it got stolen. I definitely used the low range. Now I am leaning towards looking for an older Honda 90 or 110 for use on the property and getting a bigger bike for off property. I had many motorcycles decades ago. I quit riding 25 years ago after busting up my leg. I could not start my Yamaha XT 350. I still could start the Honda trail 90. With electric start most bikes would be doable. I was hoping the new 125 would work for work around the property and trips to the store but I am leery of it with out the low range.
@@JamesSmith-vv3ys look into an XT225 older one. They are electric start and six speed. They'll do 70 or more and super light and low seat height. There's a video or two of me working and riding one on the channel here. Be good for both, or a TW200 as well.
It's an instant 30 year time warp back to the days of riding my little C70 passport with knobbies and no farings!! It's been great so far man! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for watching Andrew! I have heard that these are getting kind of hard to get. The Shinko 244s 3.00x17 would be comparable to these in the video if so. Safe travels! ruclips.net/video/Hj38_xRC04g/видео.htmlsi=GjUfjsLw1D1BOvd7
Thanks for the comment!! I had an older Sportster 883 and really enjoyed it. I had a Honda C70 as a kid and this has really taken me back in time. I've had some fantastic adventures on the CT125. I'm coming up with one year on mine. Your videos are a big reason why I picked one up!
Awesome! Great to hear!!! Thanks for the continued support!!!
That's the only reason I've never bought one of those. I had a CT90 years ago and actually used the low range. I'd miss it for sure now.

Got mine at Kings Bay Georgia and had it shipped to Asheville. I use it for city riding. Still running strong. Thanks.

Good to hear about the '23!! Yep, those Duro's will definitely be an upgrade over the stock ones!! Thanks for the kind words and happy trails!!!

Off topic, but the route sheet holder you have, is it waterproof? Considering one for when I ride in the rain
@HedgehogOutdoors somewhat... not if you submerge it, but does okay in the rain. It's the one Sam sells on the TAT website
@@PSBEadventures thanks!
Anyone know how much miles the stock tires last?
I'd say you can get 4000 or so out of them
Honda only mistake.. not adding the 2 gear transfer case..
Bring it back Honda
