I had the honour to caddy for Peter a few years ago on one of his charity " A round with Alliss". It was a pure pleasure. Peter was such great company and so nice to go round with. A true gentleman and a great raconteur and just plain nice. I remember that round with great please. RIP Peter.

For years I've waited eagerly for the major tournaments to start because it meant I would hear that wonderful voice describing the events taking place, sadly the magic has disappeared since Peter passed away and the game is a lot poorer for it so if you are listening up there somewhere Peter thank you for a million memories that will stay with me forever. RIP.

Watching this again have a break from the 2023 Open in Liverpool and wishing like hell that the silly woman Alison Whitaker would stop her constant stupid idiotic commentary and spend some time listening to Peter Alliss…I have to turn the sound off when she is commentating,,,Mr Alliss you were a legend 🙏🏼
