Erik, I've been following you since the beginning. You never cease to amaze me with how you continue to remake yourself, always getting closer to who you really want to be. You got heart. It's been a wild ride for you and I'm so glad you've taken us along for the ride. These are the videos I love, the personal ones. I wish I lived in New York and could come watch you perform. Break a leg.
-- I would like to see more (and know more) about the play that you are going to be in. Like, what is the name of it? And maybe I could even visit New York City and see you in it! 😊
Love these types of videos! I, and I'm sure many others, find this style incredibly motivating as someone moving into NYC soon. Here's to a great 2024!
Glad you found yourself and are more aligned with your values. I have been a longterm subscriber from back in the days where you lived in the tiny NYC apartment. To be honest, the real estate videos didn't resonate with me (although they were very well produced), so I didn't watch for a while. I know as a RUclipsr it just happens that we go through phases and try new things. I can tell from the tonality of your voice that you feel super comfortable now and we are here for it! Excited to see more of this!
I remember a few years ago, you had mentioned coming back to your roots and making more videos like these. I’ve been watching for years and New York is my favorite place on this earth, so of course I was ecstatic. Your presence has been missed! I clicked as soon as this popped up on my feed. I’d love to see more of this content. It’s real, it’s refreshing, it’s deep- there’s thought and intellectual layer in this. Excited to (hopefully) see more of you and Theo in 2024!
I’ve always enjoyed your vlog style videos, like this one, from the start of your channel. You seem much more relaxed and confident now, less like you are chasing a dream of wealth just for wealth’s sake. Onward and upward toward true meaning, consistent joy and peace for you, young man! ❤
Truly heartwarming to see you genuinely smiling more, worrying less, and living your passion... Congrats on the Off Broadway show, and for getting there by living up to what you always believed in. As a fellow New Yorker, looking forward to seeing you shed light again on the real charm of this wild city. Cheers, I'm so happy for you!
I have followed you since the OG vlog days with you and Jess. The best videos you can make are the ones you are passionate about, whether it be vlog style, real estate, Theo, or anything in between. It’s you’re enthusiasm that keeps us coming back, we will be here as long as you enjoy the content you make.
Bro I LOVE seeing who you actually are. Love the one year coin. I had a 3 year coin but I had to turn it in. Getting my life back together. You’re an inspiration.
Erik, I have followed you since the beginning and I have so enjoyed you evolve in all the ways. Because truthfully I’ve evolved with you! You have grown and matured and it’s so entertaining to brought on the the journey of another one’s life. It really brings it together that we are human and more similar than we think. Keep evolving and doing what makes you happy in the current moment!
I can say with confidence that this is the kind of video that most of your audience including me would really love to watch . City vlogs , daily vlogs and historical architecture . Keep it up man . Love from Mumbai , India ❤️
I LOVE the direction you're taking with your career, Erik. Congrats! I'm also pursuing a career change, to pursue things that I feel will help me live a more genuine life. Definitely would love to see more videos like this, it really brings out your personality and ability to tell a great story!
I’ve been following you for probably 4 years now and I always love your videos! I see a lot of myself in you and wish I could live in nyc! I have visited 4 times and like you said - the buildings alone can inspire you. As an architect, I can never get enough of nyc and I get so energized every time I’m there. I might be back this year!
Honestly most of the reason why I subscribed is how much work you put into your visuals. Even something as simple as a vlog would be high quality, whatever type of content your passionate about I’m sure we’ll all love
I have been following you for over 5 years now, and it is amazing to see the personal growth you have made over all these years. You are such an inspiration in so many things, and I try to manifest (no pun intended) a lot of the things you are doing. Reading books, taking cold baths, improving my mental and physical health (sometimes by improving my routines or mental health). Thank you for being you and thank you for everything
I love the improvements to your place! It’s so much more personal, warm, and cozy. I like seeing the evolution of your channel and your life. Thank you for sharing.
Happy 2024! Your park experience was beautiful to watch. Theo is a sweetheart. Your apartment is lovely. Good for you, evolution can be exciting and fulfilling. I love tours of historic homes.
It means a lot to me to see this as someone who has also moved constantly and struggled to have a settled place that I can truly make my own. I'm so excited for the future of your channel. I've always watched because of the architecture and design elements so I'm really looking forward to that being the focus from now on.
I have been waiting for this style of video since the last apartment tour. The cozyness from it lived in my head rent free for years. Much appreciated Erik!
i have been following you for a long time and still enjoy your take on nyc. i fell in love with the city back in 2008 when my hubs lived/worked there for a couple of years. i would visit for weeks/months at a time and spent my days walking the streets. i found your channel because i was lonely for the sights and sounds of nyc. you were living in that tiny little apartment with your girlfriend, i think it was in brooklyn. thank you for bringing me back to a lovely time and reminding me the value of memories.
Erik-great seeing you evolve- I met you years ago at an event where only "influencers" could have water, and you stood up for me there- so seeing you happy, makes my day.
its nice to see how loving you are to your pet giving him running time to loose weight and be healthy make sure you dont over feed him out of love giving him to mny treats making him over weight.
Really enjoyed this one! Your apartment tour now vs. then encapsulates the message of your growth as a person, the message of doing things with intention, and what makes you happy as a person. A good Theo vlog is always a plus too!
Hey Erik, like 1 year ago I watched all your videos and liked them. The last year I was traveling so watched nearly no videos on RUclips. This video is the first I saw after I am back and I love these types of videos! First of all the intro is beautiful and how you talk about your life. I liked your "old" videos as well, but old buildings or interesting architecture have so much more to offer, than the same modern luxury in different buildings. So pleas more of this! Happy 2024!
Great tour Erik, like you said it is so important to make your place a home and I love the changes you have made not just in your apartment but in your life as well, just keep being you and have a fantastic 2024!!
Geraldine has incredible taste, she's completely transformed this apartment. I also loved your interpretation of Ed Hoppers' painting. Such a fresh take on New York, great video.
Let's have more of Theo please. My two old Retrievers died recently (15 and 12 years old) and seeing another lovely retriever just makes me so happy. Thanks for your films, they're the perfect combination of old buildings, New York, and Goldies.
I love how no matter what chaos is going on in NYC right now Erik is still able to focus on the good old fashioned New York ! I love these videos so much
I started watching your travel vlogs in my first year of university, they filled me with inspiration to not just learn from my lectures but from the life I was living. I’m graduated now and not working in my field but gearing up for a huge travel year. I love these style vlogs and hope to see more!
I guess the algorithm brings me back to all the apartment tours only. 😅 Crazy how much you have changed since the last time I saw you. Keep on going! Best greetings from Germany!
Dude, we have missed you so much. So glad to see you thriving in a healthy and genuinely happy way. I would love to see your vlogs. I miss those days. I would enjoy the historical home tours too. Maybe interview the home owners for some background history. Whatever inspires you or motivates you. I also loved your travel vlogs. I think documentary, lifestyle is the best niche. I have been following you for the past 7 years at least. It’s cool to see your phases of life
you definitely have a gift for story and empathy that shines through, especially in the videos about making it in NYC on a shoestring budget. Your love for the city is strong and influences your work in ways that I don’t think other places could. Glad you’re staying! As for my preferred content? I guess just be true to yourself and I’m good!
CONGRATS on accomplishing a huge checkpoint in your theater and performance journey!!!! As a fellow performer I feel the excitement!!! I’m so happy for you! This is a dream!
Erik, I enjoy your videos for your professionalism, your honesty, integrity, and for even letting us see a bit into your personal life. You are a fine man carving out your niche in the world... I hope your acting gigs bring you what you seek, I can see a bit of your theatrical side in how you produce your videos, so it all seems to work. You look great in a suit as well and bring a grounded energy to all those expensive properties that you show. I think you're more relaxed, but I never thought you were not relaxed. More blessings to you Erik, you know what to do with them.
OMG Eric! We missed these type of videos, please do more. I’ve been following you since covid and omg I’m so glad how many things you have achieved, how cozy your apartment is right now, of course Theo and your new relationship! Love to see you happy 🙌🏼 we need to see more updates!
I've always enjoyed your vlogs over the expensive home tours, I also enjoy when you do tours of real New Yorkers homes/apartments. Can't wait to see videos on older properties, as I love architecture.
Your home is stunning. I've followed you since the start and love how you and your channel has evolved. I also love how well you've raised the beautiful Theo.
Amazing apartment! One of the things i liked best is you don't follow decor trends but surround yourself with the things and cultural references that mean something for you. That's also my approach when it comes to decor.
Hi Erik, I have been watching your videos for 10 years, I have not really watched the real estate ones but am glad you are coming back to yourself, and the vlog style videos:)
So proud of you! The Evolution of Erik, as I like to call it, has been epic and I am so proud that you've finally gotten the opportunity you wanted! Love your channel and love the transition to older, more historic homes and especially the architecture of them! I wish you so much luck in your acting endeavours and you're gonna make it, kid! Love ya lots!! 🤗😊
Congratulations on pursuing your dreams Eric! I don’t watch your videos a ton but when i do pop in i’m never disappointed! I just moved back to the city to pursue my dreams and couldn’t agree with you more, this city is really special 🥂
Hey Eric, been following your videos for years now. Love the evolution and seeing you do more things that make you happy! Glad the love for New York and all it stands for remains the same ❤
Love the loft, Thx👍🏽 for sharing. I’ve not watched a video of yours for many many years. You seem to have really matured and calmed down since the last video that I watched of you. I hope that 2024 is a good year for you. Peace!✌🏽
Really loved this video for the little personal details. And that's exactly what I'd like to see more of, personality. More of those people living in new york videos exploring not only the apartments but also their way of living. Tours of unique spaces with character. Maybe what living is like in a certain area, what spots to go to, nice walking routes etc. And also, maybe some (not so well known) tips for apartment hunting!
I ❤ New York! You have a beautiful wall and a very good dog! Of course, you also have a great apartment! You did a really great job, thanks a lot for sharing! 👍😄👏
This is a great video! I don't usually comment on your videos, though I watch them, but I love how genuine and open this is. Congrats on making your home feel so cozy and the exciting changes in your career. Would love to see more vlogs and historical house tours.
I really like this type of video. Looking back on the path you have gone through on RUclips, your primary videos were kinda daily vlogs. In those days, the phrase you always said at the end of each video encouraged me to live tomorrow. Such videos might not have gotten millions of viewers but I really enjoyed listening to the messages you left to us every day. I know how difficult it is for personal RUclipsrs to maintain their subscribers and viewers on their channels for a long time. Sadly, many of my favorite RUclipsrs have already left this platform. If possible, however, please keep uploading videos that show us how you live and feel daily in NYC with your significant others. So, until tomorrow, please remember to smile more, worry less, and live your passion.
Aww, as an original old time viewer, your comment really resonated for me! And ohmygosh, as I was watching this video the same thing popped into my head, Erik's old "outro" "outtro"? Lol, opposite of "intro". You remembered, too! Thanks for saying it. Ahh, so nostalgic! ❤️
Very cool that you’re pursuing theater now. I feel like I’ve been watching you since before you did real estate and it’s so neat to see you evolve. And I feel lucky that you still post on RUclips! Keep it up!
your cinematic eye never misses. I hope one day you'll still put your old catalogue of original NYC vlogs on your second channel. even though that part of your life has come and gone, the beauty of them feeds my soul.
Omg Erik I am SO excited to hear you’ve booked a gig!! I was just thinking I love your videos and channel because you get to do what you love for a living, touring these beautiful places and talking about the architecture. Then a couple seconds later you say you’ve booked your play! Congratulations!!! Inspo for sure! Break a leg, friend! I’m a couple hours away upstate. One day I’ll make it down there and see you perform!
You can feel that his energy has changed-like, a lot. He’s almost energetically unrecognizable from the guy he was before. I liked his content then but felt like he was just another fame/power-ambitious influencer. But seeing him now, that driving, hyper-ambitious energy has chilled out into something calmer and more connected to the heart of things. You don’t often see that with people who gain-and keep achieving-outward success. Not sure exactly what he’s done/experienced to shift his energy, but I gotta say, it’s working for him.
I really appreciate how you didn’t arrange your home for a YT video purpose and let it the way it seems to be when you live in it. It shows how sincere your approach is and obviously make the appartment more inviting and cosy. Fans frome France ;)
totally agree that the buildings in NYC inspire you!! the architecture alone is so beautiful let alone the history of the iconic people that have lived in or built a name for themselves in the city 😊 loved watching this!
My fiance and I love watching your videos! Love watching the evolution of this channel, the more personal style feels for comfortable and genuine! keep it up!! We cant wait to see all that you do man!
Happy 2024! Love this type of videos and the apartment's new look. It looks warmer, more like a place where you can relax after a long day. I'm currently decorating my first apartment, so I really love this type of videos.
Ok Eric, you are officially settled in; love Geraldine’s touches and the surf boards! Love the degree, certificate and framed article! 👏🏻 Bravo, my friend! I love seeing the historic and finer points - or places - of interest in Manhattan and around NYC. Also, love your tours of historic homes and architectural wonders!
Bronx born & raised, mostly enjoyed being in Manhattan, moved from NYC in 2016. Now im a published author with my first book in the Library of Congress. Time flies.
Hey Erik, Happy 2024!!! I have been a follower since your very first apartment & the Jessica era. It has been a while. This video was refreshing because I missed your NYC Vlogs capturing the city's heart. Your old runs at dawn, grabbing a bagel and showing us the beauty of New York. I used to also love the videos of you going back home, showing where you are from, surfing, and hanging out. I lost touch with your channel when the home tours began as that is not something that piques my interest. Looking forward to more content like this and of your upcoming play, CONGRATS!
I’m really excited at the prospect of seeing more historic homes and apartments on your channel!!! My heart has always leaned traditional …there’s something about classic architecture that’s just so inspiring. I love the uniqueness of older buildings - from the ornate masonry to the interesting woodwork - and it reminds me of how these skills are dwindling as people gravitate towards clean lines. My heart has always leaned traditional; there’s something about classic architecture that’s just so inspiring. So many of New York’s historic structures have been demolished in the pursuit of profit and the push for height. I find it tragic - and applaud your desire to memorialize better places. Now, I HAVE very much enjoyed watching all the renovated, updated, modern spaces you’ve shown in the past - it’s provided a wealth of decorating ideas and helped me get a feel for what high-end abodes are looking like nowadays. Because regardless of what’s trending, people will always yearn for a comfortable home which rejuvenates the spirit and motivates each of us to pursue one’s best life. Though your priorities have shifted, mine have steadfastly been the same search for quality and beauty - whether a breathtaking view, an awe-inspiring modern chandelier, or a simple but elegant marble countertop in an otherwise unremarkable space. Please know that whatever your life’s goals have been, you remain a personable, engaging, relatable host - even when showing us the uber-progressive homes, astronomically-priced homes of the super-wealthy. I’m happy to be here as you broaden your horizons and branch out into new and more personally rewarding territory!!!
Happy New Year, Eric! I absolutely loved this video and love your home. Its perfect. The movie posters are all of my favorite movies and the ambiance of your home is so relaxed and beautiful. I love the way it is decorated. I wound love to see more like this going forward, since you asked. Old NYC apartment tours would be great. Old buildings that people live in now, and how they have fixed them up. Give Theo a treat from me ❤️🐶❤️
Erik, I am hoping you will continue your series where you film homes of average and thrifty New Yorkers. It was so real and fun to watch. Your buddy Cash Jordan is still making those kind of videos and there are some of his most watched. You are so good with other people and it’s nice to watch you interact with other New Yorkers. I also like seeing videos of your life, like day in the life, you yourself, are such an interesting person. It’s been great to see your growth over the years, I hope you continue to document it.
Watching you grow as a person has been the most entertaining thing on this app and I would personally like to see WHATEVER u make cause I will definitely tune in. You are still inspiring me to this day, thank u Erik!
I loved this one, it's nice to see some honesty once in a while. I will say I'm a 57 yr old from Upper East Tennessee, I live near Bristol TN (Nascar track here) 😉 I feel you need to take some time and visit the Smokey Mountains, trust me you can go as $$$$ Or as $ as you like. Your apartment is gorgeous, my daughter has always dreamt of living in NYC until about the last year. She's now 25 and it's like her eyes opened to area she was born to. We've lived in LA, Houston and North of Orlando but these Mountains are home, there's farm land, city life and yes mountain life all around. We also have all 4 seasons, which I'll admit the winter is nice at first but your can't wait until late April early May for that summer approach. It seems our little hidden gem in the world has gotten out. So many people are moving in, buying up farmland and turning it into neighborhoods, condos.. it's sad to me, but I can see why it's so tempting lol. You and your lady should plan a vacation to the mountains in upper east Tennessee, (especially if you're an outdoors kinda guy) see how you like our ever growing secret.. oh and we're super pet friendly well mostly.. anyway. Take care and God Bless 🙏🏼♥️
These types of videos and your series of going through the NYC Boroughs (Like Chelsea) were some of my favorite videos to watch! Glad to see you and Theo are doing well :)
I've watched you since 2014. That first NYC apartment tour in that super small apartment you had. It's amazing to see you now. I wish we had more daily vlog like back in the day but I still like your content. You're also the reason I want to move to nyc
Erik you allow me to live life in a different perspective , i love all the content ! Now that i live in Colorado i miss NY, so i feel at home watching your vids thank you for all that you do 🙏
Your vlogs have always been my favourite types of videos - right back to the old days when you first started. You create great vlog content, and it genuinely hyped me up when I saw you posted this video.
Thanks for the most enjoyable update, Erik! And, as always, it's fun to see Theo being his dear self. Love your new artworks, film posters, leather couches, the small kitchen island. That your interests are expanding into creating your own artwork was a bit of a surprise, but certainly a surprise in a good way. Keep reaching for your goals and being open to more expansions and surprises. God bless!
Hi Erik, I loved your old vlogs just starting out in the city. I'd love more vlogs and more Theo content for sure. Anything that you're passionate about is amazing to watch ❤
Your personal videos and vlogs have always been my fav. Have been watching you since you first moved to the city in that humble piece of apartment haha. You inspired my move to NYC back in 2017. I’ve sinced moved back down south and my husband and I have settled in Charlotte but the city will always have my heart and we visit often! Got the chance to meet you at a meet and greet you had in the park near the flatiron building. I’ve watched you grow and remake yourself over the years! Is Bubba still around? Love your space and how it’s evolved. Geraldine is gorg! HNY! ❤
I want to see a day in the life of Theo. What does he do all day? Follow you around? Play with his toys? Sleep? The people need to know 😩
Erik, I've been following you since the beginning. I agree...👋😊
thank you
I agree 😊🙌🏾
You summed it up perfectly
Me too, I remember his tiny apartment. Nice to see how far he has come
Happy 2024! Let me know what kind of content you want to see on the channel this year
More tours of huge houses that we can't afford please. They always have great ideas that can be implemented in smaller (Normal) properties
❤
Are you still preparing the documentary on the Conover family?
-- I would like to see more (and know more) about the play that you are going to be in. Like, what is the name of it? And maybe I could even visit New York City and see you in it! 😊
I always liked your Fitness/Wellness content, I'd love to see more this year. Keep up the great work man.
Love these types of videos! I, and I'm sure many others, find this style incredibly motivating as someone moving into NYC soon. Here's to a great 2024!
Best of luck to you in achieving all your goals!
Yo same! I’m planning on moving in July right after I graduate college. I just have to wait for my friends roommates lease to end so I could move in 😂
Intro like a Hollywood movie. I like !
moving to ny...are you nuts
@@cholehill8638 why would they be nuts? I mean, if you can afford it, new york city is a wonderful place to live
Glad you found yourself and are more aligned with your values. I have been a longterm subscriber from back in the days where you lived in the tiny NYC apartment. Really coming full circle to how he started, good to see an uplifting vlog again
I like how Erik consistently makes excellent content, while giving viewers an appreciation for history and heritage. His honesty is also refreshing.

There was an Ed Hopper exhibit at the Whitney a few years ago, I love the simplicity and isolation in his work
Let's have more of Theo please. My two old Retrievers died recently (15 and 12 years old) and seeing another lovely retriever just makes me so happy. Thanks for your films, they're the perfect combination of old buildings, New York, and Goldies.

you definitely have a gift for story and empathy that shines through, especially in the videos about making it in NYC on a shoestring budget.
The happiness you are experiencing clearly shines through this post. Go get your dreams. Life is too short to hesitate. Break a leg!
Love the evolution, Erik. Seeing you go from where you started to now is truly inspirational. Keep doing what you're doing.
Thank you for sharing, Erik! I've actually been missing these kinds of videos for a while. Can't wait to see where you're going!
My personal take, im not really into luxury and old buildings, so this kind of content (vlogs, apt tours) are my fav part of your channel
It's so nice to see you happy. Your home is a reflection of your rich inner and outer life. Best wishes to you and your partner. x
Congrats on booking the play! and on the home coming together. have loved following your journey and wishing you the best this new year 🙏
I really appreciate how you didn’t arrange your home for a YT video purpose and let it the way it seems to be when you live in it. It shows how sincere your approach is and obviously make the appartment more inviting and cosy.
Fans frome France ;)
Film whatever that doesn’t effect your mental health a mix of your vlogs and real estate tours have always been great imo
totally agree that the buildings in NYC inspire you!! the architecture alone is so beautiful let alone the history of the iconic people that have lived in or built a name for themselves in the city 😊 loved watching this!
You are such an inspiring person! I really appreciate these kinds of videos.
Your home looks absolutely fantastic. I really like the new style.
These are my favorite videos you make by far! Love the vlog style. Anything with you wandering around the city is gold! More please!
My fiance and I love watching your videos! Love watching the evolution of this channel, the more personal style feels for comfortable and genuine! keep it up!! We cant wait to see all that you do man!
I feel your videos are so relaxing to watch. And amidst our chaotic lives that’s priceless. Thanks so much and keep making such amazing videos 😊
Congrats on the chip Eric! Always a fan and a long way from your old NYC apartments from your early youtube days 😂 Congrats on doing so well!
Happy 2024! Love this type of videos and the apartment's new look. It looks warmer, more like a place where you can relax after a long day. I'm currently decorating my first apartment, so I really love this type of videos.
Erik, that was the best vlog I've observed so far in 2024. I have been touched, motivated, and learned from it.
I appreciate it
Ok Eric, you are officially settled in; love Geraldine’s touches and the surf boards! Love the degree, certificate and framed article! 👏🏻 Bravo, my friend! I love seeing the historic and finer points - or places - of interest in Manhattan and around NYC. Also, love your tours of historic homes and architectural wonders!
Awe Theo not knowing what to do with his freedom for a sec lol. My golden loved the off leash times at Central Park too.
Give Theo a treat from me ❤️🐶❤️
The way you can make a Huddle sized Apartment seem huge is amazing.
Thank you for supporting. I appreciate you!
My Wife and I love History/ Historic Tour Videos. But we also like a day in the life videos too. Your chateau video was one of the best we loved it.
Love these types of videos, I enjoy your life updates and seeing how far you've come. I also enjoy seeing Theo and how much he's grown 😊❤🐾🐾
I genuinely look forward to your vlog style videos every time. Definitely would love to see more in 2024
I followed you because of these NYC vlogs! Love this style of videos, keep em coming :)
Yes please, absolutely more videos like these. So much more genuine and real.
Now that i live in Colorado i miss NY, so i feel at home watching your vids thank you for all that you do 🙏
You've come a long way Sir, I remember the first tour and the difference now is you now have a home, love these types of videos, keep them coming.
HNY! ❤
I love weekend morning quiet and empty Manhattan the best!! ❤
