Coming back from injury must be super difficult as you've got to not only regain self belief and your level of play but also put away fears of being injured yet again. So for Rafa Nadal to have done this several times in his long and successful tennis career is just incredibly impressive. From injury to the top of the tennis world, again and again. Just wow! Hope he is able to do it again. VAMOS!!!

@@pauljohnson6019 We don't have to exaggerate again. Nadal is 37 (no longer in his prime) and physically he is also unstable - you'll be lucky if he reaches a reasonably exceptional level again. The competition hasn't gotten any weaker after the year he missed. (Also, with Alcaraz we have a new exceptional talent to whom the future belongs) I think it will be difficult with another grand slam (also in RG) unless he plays as well as he did in his last grand slam title.

I wished this for a long time - I followed his qualifiers and challenger events, but unfortunately it feels very unlikely now. I think he will hang out too 100, maybe top 50 and then retire.
His unforced error rate is ridiculously high now. The sad thing is it really doesn’t seem physical - he is getting similar RPMs on his ground strokes. But mentally, the 2 years of constant losses seems to have destroyed him mentally

Korda has the technique and shots to be a top player but seems to lack the mental strength. He loses a lot of matches like this where he is up in a set and is unable to close it out. Serve could be a bit better for his height, but he just needs to humble himself and be more solid in the big moments.
