Just a hint, instead of creating a new imaginary tool, it is usually easier to replicate a toolpath and use smaller or even negative values on the "stock to leave" for the operation in question. That way you can iterate quite quickly and don't have to do math with tool diameters etc and dial in the stock to leave to get the fit you want.
Use option In Control then you can adjust tool diameter offset in the tool library in your controller mach4/masso g3/hass or whatever you are using. That way you will only generate code once and then creep up on the perfect dimension.
There was a time that one could Google "Lego dimensions" and a page would pop giving precise measurements. Then Lego made "Lego Dimensions" and I'd put money on the only reason they made it was to bury the site that gave the dimensions...
Would this be a project ideal for a different style of hold down, where you could CNC one side, and then flip and remount the whole thing with tabs knowing it's still square, get your new X and Y, and do all the 2nd side milling at once? This seems like the downside of the tape hold-down, in that you can't really flip it and ensure you have it in the same location as before.
Are you guys gonna offer Customer Service? I am a COMPLETE NEWBIE and have been eyeing the DMC2 for a while now. Seems awesome but very intimidating for someone new to CNC.
Also, I am seeing another youtube channel advertising DMC3 and DMC+ ? is that you guys ? that site was taken down for fraud from what I gather ? are you legit ?
Mach3. The machine also can run GRLB out of the box. Or you can use your own software/controller and just connect the pulse and direction signals to the motors. See the detailed video for more info

You can enable cutter compensation and edit the diameter at the machine to size it in.
Cool project. Enjoyed watching you work.

Search for lego bricks specifications instead?
I would definitely not want to stand on one of those
Amazing work on that cnc machine

hey did u buy it?
It's not challenging to CNC. Fusion just needs boolean subtract with offset so you can set known tolerances.
how do you hold the vice?
I'd like to purchase this where can I submit payment?
The Kickstarter will be up in a few days
@@shariffdmc3406 Awesome can't wait to purchase this! how many will be available ?
@@shariffdmc3406 Also, do you have an email that I can send some questions to ? I am really interested in purchasing this!
