So many of his songs have a hint of regret. "Wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then" so true, Bob.

Bob Seger was a rock and roll legend long before this song came out. You really need to check out some of his other songs as well. The Live Bullet album was recorded at Cobo Hall in Detroit, Michigan in April.of 1976. Start there and go forward. As a fan growing up in a suburb of Detroit, I wore his albums and cassette tapes out.

All Bob Seger's music is magic and should be listened to "loudly." One of my favorite songs of his that I like to clean house to is "Old Time Rock and Roll."

I’ve seen Bob Seger many times, in concert. He NEVER disappoints. Even in his 70’s he was amazing. I’d love to see him again.

Bob Seger was my first concert! Of course, he's from Michigan and I lived only 50 miles from Mackinaw City. He was required listening during my formative years.

One of my favorite songs. It’s a masterpiece.
It was the ending credit song to “Mask” which was a movie about a community of bikers. Great film.

My absolute favorite Bob Seger song. Having been an avid rider for more than 50 years, this song hits very close to home. There’s not much to equal the feeling you get when you’re in the wind. “Took a bead on that northern plain and just rolled that power on”. One of my favorite lyrics that just makes me want to head out to my big two wheeler. Bob is a legend, and has long been a favorite of mine since I met him at a party in 1974. Great guy, phenomenal talent.

Fifty-some years ago I had a Triumph 650 while living in Alaska. Riding that bike on the open road and up in the mountains was the greatest sense of freedom I've ever had and the closest to feeling like I was flying I've ever come. Great song, great reaction...you're the best. ☮

the great Bob Seeger. Probably the best live concert I've ever been to (it was also the first). Saw him on the Like A Rock tour back in the old Market Square Arena in Indianapolis and it was just fantastic. When I was a kid there were a few albums every kid seemed to have. Live Bullet, Kiss Alive and Frampton Comes Alive. I played the hell out of them.

Bob Seger is definitely classified as a rock musician but personally the sub-genre of modern rock is where I would place him. It's rock music that is highly commercialized. I mean no disrespect by that. Many of the best and most successful bands across the music spectrum make highly commercialized music.

Motion to make Bob Seger his own genre...... one regret i have in life is the fact i passed twice on seeing Seger in concert because "you can always catch the next show." Unbelievably stupid on my part.
