Man, as controversial as this game was at launch, there is no denying the beautiful soundtrack that it is. This music really gets me thinking about how that generation has almost passed, pretty soon there will no longer be WW2 veterans which is crazy to even think. WW2 didn't happen that long ago, but time is passing by way too quick.
The thing is... it Will be forgotten. In 200 years children Will probaly have one page about it in their history books. With a picture of the holocaust. But it would seem so far away and foreign. And they would wonder what the world was like for those people 275 years ago. But just for a few seconds and then they Will Flip to the second page. Never knowing what it was like.
This is by far the best piece of the soundtrack. And this soundtrack....... is out of this world. It gives us a glimpse at the horrors and the sorrow humanity faced then, but also at the courage and honor of these men, who stood up and fought, for others can prevail. A great sacrifice, that will never be forgotten.
It's amazing how this game has two of the best battlefield themes known to man, this and battlefield v legacy, and have them be so different. One being a bombastic and exciting battle theme, and the other being a depressing, yet beautiful masterpiece
Disclaimer: This is the same guy but with a different account I changed my mine. Battlefield 4 has a better theme. This one is still one of my favorite themes of all time, though
I have had a dream with this song. And I thought it connected to after my grandfather died. I saw what he saw but was in his shoes. In Germany, Berlin. I saw death. Felt the blood. And most of all felt everything in this dream. This song was part of it. Thank you for bringing this prized memory back.
When I die and if there is an afterlife, I would love to have this music playing in the background while going through all the good moments and memories throughout my life. That would just be perfect.
My great grandfather served in the Marine corps in the Solomon Islands and Okinawa. When he was fighting in the Solomon Islands, a Japanese frag grenade blew up and nearly took his eye out. Had that not happened, though, he would have fought on Iwo Jima, and most likely would have died. He's dead right now, but his death did not go in vein. I mentioned that he was in the marines; the Marine corps lives forever, which means he lives forever
This tune was the reason why I sometimes loved just hanging out in the menus and not wanting to join a game. Johan Söderqvist and Patrik Andrén really deserve credit for every theme in the soundtrack, simply perfect! Too bad that this theme no longer isn't in the menus but fortunately found this here!
yesterday I moved away from the computer, and when I came, at first I did not understand where this beautiful music was playing from. I have never seen such sad and mesmerizing melodies in the main menu
I accidentally put this video on while putting my phone. I was looking out of my window when all of a sudden this started playing. It felt beautiful staring at the green grass, tall trees and the slightly yellow sky. Each game manages to deliver an equally amazing soundtrack and I'll hold battlefield close to my heart.
When I die and if there is an afterlife, I want this music to play while I relive the good moments and memories of my life before the eternal darkness comes.
Estou passando por um momento de perda muito difícil, e essa música me ajuda muito liberar a tristeza do meu coração, obrigado por ter colocado essa música.
For me, this song captures the whole atmosphere of WW2. Imagine yourself as a a bird flying over Europe in 1944... Millions of dead, everywhere... How could we do this to ourselves?
Very good music it gives me shivers. when I first heard it in the game. I was like I need to find that. Thanks for posting it. Makes you think about the people who lost their lives in WW2.
For me battlefield 5 is a legend. People this days have a way too high expectations from shooter games. My expectations are very basic, who needs games like bf1 bf4 or the others. 🤔🤔🤔 It's very sad for me that the game has arrived at its End. 😭😭😭
really masterpiece in everything and because this game does not have much community like modern warfare that means it's a crap seriously comparing it with call of duty is too far this game took care of everything from graphics, story, vehicles, maps, voice acting and of course the soundtrack i still have hope that the EA and dice will return to their glorious days like bf 1942 and bf2.
I wish Dice and EA didn't give up on this game. The first battlefield i made tons of friends on, playing firestorm, and it's the one game they give up on. Very sad, would've been an even better game, then it was when the Pacific launched.
i see it more better than modern warfail. to be honest i dropped mw to play it and i wish that people switch to battlefield to see the huge difference between both.
@@adhamtharwat607 BF is really harder than MW, I play both, but i can see so far, in MW, you can win with your squad, but in BF, u just win if your team is good!!!
Nah, i play all BF games, this is still worth it, most people overwhelm with WW2 theme so they get bored after WW1 launched. Now we still wait BF6 coming up next year.

All of what you said was described in this short 3 minute masterpiece. Let's honor our soldiers who have fought for our freedom..

amazing thanks veterans!
the song norway is also a beautiful song
I loved Battlefield V
It’s shame how it got ignored, especially by the developers
Same
Story really great but the multiplayer sucks

I get so much nostalgia when I hear this because of Battlefield 1 :')

I get the same nostalgia of Battlefield 1. It brings tears to my eyes.

This makes me sad thinking that all the brave men who served in WW2 are almost all dead.
It's insane that WW2 doesn't seem that long ago, but time is going by so quick that that generation is almost entirely gone.
*_They may be gone. But we will always remember those who served. They are IMMORTALIZED in memoriam! Rest assured._*

This is best audio in the game ,
Hate the game as much as I want but u HV to admit the soundtracks are 10/10
When I heard this in the menu, I just froze.. This is amazing.
Man, when the menu was more emotional than the gameplay.
This hits way harder, with BF5 being abandoned, and how 2042 is going rn...
DICE really made their own funeral theme for the franchise
When I first heard this while in the Main Menu... I knew right then and there that I wanted it to be my funeral song.

Because of them, the world did not end. Because of them, we are here.
Godspeed to all of them
This is the best one , thanks for uploading mate
It's a big shame Söderquist likes to hide his best pieces. Same with BF1.
Possibly because of the emotions they bring being so heavy that it hurts to listen to them.
Bf 1 and V have the best soundtrack oh battlefield series.
I hope the same quality of music for next battlefield.
Boy o boy it didn't age well
2042 soundtrack sounds like a wifi router getting stroke

Thank you for your sacrifice and the country we have today
Some people have the annoying question of which is better, bedsides the other like complete nonsense call of duty
Both respect those who have fallen
Thanks bro for this song , like for you

So sad that at some point, ww2 will be forgotten just like we barely acknowledge ww1 vets.

The only thing in this game that captures the feel and sorrow of the second world war is definitely the music and the music only.
I'm trying to find the second piece of this but I can't find it...
