Steps to Sign Up & Get Activated on Visible:
1. Confirm your phone is compatible using the compatibility checker on Visible's website and entering your device's IMEI. You can find the IMEI by dialing *#06# and hitting "call" in your phone app.

2. Once you have a compatible device, you'll need to order a SIM card. Click "continue" under the compatibility checker, and you'll be brought to your bag. Here you'll see 1 month of service for $40 and a free SIM card that will ship via FedEx next day delivery. Current discounts include $15 off for new activations and a $100 prepaid Mastercard after you pay for 2 months of service.
3. Create your Visible account. Enter your first name, last name, email, and create a password. Make sure you remember your log in information. You'll need it when you log in to your Visible account on the Visible app to complete your activation. Here you'll also see the option to enter a referral or promo code. You can try my referral code, "wFT2c", but I believe Visible has discontinued their referral program and replaced it with their Party Pay group discount.

4. Keep your existing number or get a new number. Once you've created your account, Visible will give you the option to either get a new number or keep your existing number. If you like to keep your existing number and transfer it to Visible, also called "porting", you'll need 3 pieces of information:
1) Your current account number
2) Your account PIN
3) Your billing ZIP code
Make sure you keep your current service active. Don't worry, your current service will still stay active. Visible will only cancel your account with your previous carrier when you activate your SIM card. If you don't know your account number, PIN, or billing ZIP, reach out to your current carrier's customer support.
5. Enter your billing info, agree to the terms of service, and place your order. Your SIM card should arrive the next day thanks to FedEx next-day delivery.
6. Download the Visible application & log into your account

7. On the main page in the app, you should see a checklist. Make sure there is a checkmark next to "Service is ready," and that you've verified your email.
8. Insert the Visible SIM into your phone. The app should recognize the SIM is inserted and give you the option to activate it. Tap "Activate". In a couple seconds, your phone will be activated.
9. Restart your phone. Once your phone powers back on, check to make sure calls, cellular data, and messaging are all working properly.
10. You're done! :)

I canceled my plan with Cricket the day I ordered my SIM card and my phone number ported over fine.

Will I have a problem porting my number to Visible (on one of their new phones) due to area & zip code mismatchs? My 813 area code (FL) is different than my 77399 (TX) billing zip and different than my current seasonal address zip 85602 (AZ) where the phone and Sim will be delivered. I have a question. I’m locked out of my visible account and need my phone number to get a code to login. I’m waiting on my new SIM card to come in the mail - I switched from e sim. Once I get the SIM card, will I be able to receive messages right away? So I can get the code to be able to login? Or would I still need to login to visible first and “activate” before being able to receive messages?
I love Visible, literally just got it a couple of days ago and I did a USB tether to my gaming laptop and downloaded a Steam Game. I got a max download of 18.4 MB/s and averaged around 16.3 MB/s. IDK, it was a 10 GB Game and downloaded very quickly. But granted, I had LTE+ and full bars.
Typically WiFi offers better performance than cellular data, though for $25 for your first month you could definitely give Visible a try.
@@anthonyargote6546 I seriously wouldn't recommend this service for gaming because of the high ping time. Meaning, you get access to high speed internet in prime locations and times with this plan, but it takes a long time to actually communicate with any servers to initiate packet transmitting, cost cutting measures. Granted, I guess I found a glitch where if you allow internet over USB, you get faster speeds than a wireless hotspot. but, this is basically a 25$ (party pay, seriously search reddit) that gives you a unlimited internet with no caps.

this could just be me but in my area but ever since I switched to Visible I always experience breakup and stutter when I make calls.
The iPhone app is having issues. It shows a pop up that displays "Unknown Error" with (okay) box. This keeps coming up. I've done resets, restarts, and re-installs and the app still gives this error message. I personally think its an app issue at this point. They need to work out the bugs or something. It extremely frustrating for customers to activate service with them when this keeps happening

I downloaded the app and I have three options: activate my service, get started and sign In. Which should I picked? My menu is different from yours right now.
Ive had visible for over a month and its great, customer support is good. Speeds are good, calls are sometimes static but alot less than tmobile imo.
Yeah, a lot of the experience of using a carrier really depends on network coverage and performance in your area.
Stetson Doggett being that I live in NYC and Verizon is great over here I expected the same with visible. The only complaint like I said I have is the calls on both WiFi and cellular can sometimes be static and robotic.

What's visible number
I switched to visible and first time I chose the esim which I regret, I have installed 3 different physical SIM cards and I can’t make my phone work properly, agents haven’t been able to help me, one asked me to do a hard reset before installing the card and finally the service work, voice msgs and data, but my phone never fully restored apps and data, so I had to reset it again and back up from iCloud on my pc, cause I was not getting the iOS updates, it fixed my phone but again the cell service stopped working, now I got another new SIM card and now I can make calls and send msgs but I can’t access internet, it’s been so frustrating and I have followed all agent’s instructions through the chat but no one has been able to help me. Any idea what could it be?

Yes we did all this. Our phones are not working. Our old phones are now not working with our numbers and the new phones have no phone text or cellular service. We’ve tried everything. Nothing is working. So now no one can contact us. 😣

Visible says the Galaxy S10 doesn't work but I and others got it to work. The APN settings don't automatically enter the phone so have to enter it manually but you have to sign up with a compatible IMEI number. Not sure why when the S8,S9,S20 unlocked model easy but not the S10
Depends on the model of S10. I have a factory unlocked Galaxy S10e. It did not show up as compatible until just recently when Visible was selling the phone.

US Mobile is not truly unlimited- it is capped at 50GB then throttled to 2G thereafter. Therefore Visible is the better value by far.

If your phone is compatible, yes! You may need to request that your phone is unlocked from your current carrier first. Either way, you could get a new phone and transfer your number to Visible.
Is expensive, but $25 is not bad to start, but actual total & so 2 months upfront is allot, but not too bad o guess, but I think Mint. I want to leave Cricket. Is this like TracFone or Mint type service. I just see things differently so no idea. It seems like it or prepaid. Idk. I like it to work like a regular company like Cricket, etc, but cost less.

No, you do not need to be at the Cricket store. All you need to do is contact Cricket customer support to get your account number and account PIN. Then, enter your information on Visible's website as I show in the video. Make sure to keep your Cricket service active. Visible will automatically cancel your line for you when you switch.
If you buy a carrier unlocked device then activate it to any carrier does it lock to that carrier afterwards?
ONLY if you buy from BestBuy (and other stores like Target). These stores sell what are called “Universal Models,” which will follow the network locking policy of the first carrier they connect to. If you first power the phone on and connect it to a carrier that keeps their devices unlocked, such as using a Verizon postpaid SIM card, then the phone should be unlocked.
If you purchase a phone unlocked from the manufacturer, such as Apple, Samsung, OnePlus, or Google, then it will be factory unlocked and will work on pretty much all carriers.

Nope! If you choose to activate via eSIM, you can activate the same day within about 15 minutes. I believe you get set up with a new number, and then you have the option to port your number over.

I am stoked to start my service with visible the only problem is that it is not as simple as they say it is I have already been working on setting it up since 6am yesterday before work and then again after work yesterday then since 6am this morning I have to do it before tomorrow morning if I am going to keep my number or I am going to purchase another month of service from my existing carrier I have been very proactive and I ordered my SIM card last week so I have it already but they have no option to set up the account except for ordering another SIM card or virtual sim my existing sim from my existing account cannot be activated anymore thanks to the idiots over at straight talk

It means your phone isn’t compatible with visible. I think you can swap it for a visible phone or buy a new one
Important to note- you cannot take advantage of the phone swap offer unless you are willing to port your number from another carrier. They don't make that clear until they have wasted a bunch of your time.

What phone is it? Visible is using new network technology. Even though they use Verizon's towers, the back end is different. The phones are required to have a certain software update to be fully compatible, and some phones don't have this update.

Visible requires special software updates that are not available for all phones. So even if your phone works perfectly on Verizon, it may not be fully compatible with Visible.

Visible SUCKS! I inserted the sim two days ago and still can't receive calls or access my voice mail and everyone that calls is still hearing my old Cricket V Mail greeting.

Just make sure your account number info from your previous carrier is correct and your PIN number. Once you have those correctly you can go ahead and switch. I didn’t have any problem with visible
After how many gb does it start to slow down?
The great thing about Visible is it will never slow down based on how much data you use! It will only be slow in areas where the Verizon network is congested.

I have no problem with Visible.
Only problem I have is that I don't qualify for the gift card since I ported out from US Mobile. Still $25 a month even without it, is a hell of a deal.

Unfortunately the OnePlus 6T will likely never be compatible with Visible. Visible is using new technology that requires special software to be pushed out to phones, and it’s unlikely the 6T will get that software.

You may want to check out Wing. They just started offering service on the T-Mobile network. They are basically reselling T-Mobile business plans. Wing offers $55 for T-Mobile Magenta.

$100 when you “buy” an eligible device
Visible was fine for 3 months then the bottom dropped out....spent days on the phone with them and it's still about 1/2 meg speed now. Went from 5 to 1/2 meg. Terrible now! I bought a brand new phone from them too.....no trade in! That pisses me off. They seem to be throttling the speed. I don't care what they say.....I've seen throttling with verizon and it's the same with visible. The worst customer service you will ever see anywhere!

I bought a new phone from Visible. I started a new account with them. I want to keep my old phone number. When I try to transfer the number, the Visible app tells me "Oops Bad Request Parameters." Of course they don't have a store nor a phone number to call. So I sent them a message on facebook. Haven't heard back an hour later. Do you know how to resolve this?
