      I recommend to prioritize Muslims that are with their pious and on their Deen, instead of wealth first. Also a lot of shy insincere guys get skipped because they're "boring" compared to those who show remnants of a "bad boy". Just putting things into perspective to whom it may concern. May Allah grant you the most pious Husband.

    JazakAllahu Khairan, Sheikh Assim, for shedding light on this crucial topic. It’s disheartening to see such a lack of empathy and support in a relationship, especially concerning acts of worship like Hajj and Umrah. A loving and righteous spouse should strive to help their partner fulfill such noble obligations. May Allah soften our hearts, guide us to fulfill our duties, and strengthen the bonds of kindness and mutual understanding in our marriages.

    I'm a new revert and I'm just wondering, is there a 'pro' to getting married? In almost every video I've watched I've heard the Islamic scholars speak about women, women and more women.
    They speak about them, their rights, and what a man is obliged to do for them/to them. It's very rarely the other way around.
    But my question... beside marriage being half our/my Deen, what 'pro' is their in getting married if I have all the responsibilities as a man, and I'm obliged to do so, whereas... she's not obliged to fulfill her "motherly" roles... cooking, cleaning, being a nurturing figure within our home, and promoting peace.
    If she's not obliged to do any of that... why get married?
    Why add to life's stressors?
    Again, I'm a new revert, so please take it easy.
    Note: A while ago I also heard a Sheikh speak about women give up so much, what do women give up that is so great that men don't?

      Pros would be that she: gives birth to your children and raises them, that sexual intercourse with her is permitted, that she should be a source of peace for you, and that she also fulfils her part in running the household. The woman must listen to her husband about what is legal and the husband's rights are more important than those of the father. She may only leave the house with the husband's permission and only let people in who the husband approves of. So she manages the inner life, so to speak, and your job is to finance the outer life. Of course there are many other rights and duties that have nothing to do with payment (both should be nice and loving to one another, etc.) and it is a natural predisposition for both to fulfil their fitra.

      @olegnurmagomedov750 26 дней назад +9

      Brother, here's my answer to clear your confusions:
      The biggest reason we, as Muslim men, need to marry is so that we can protect ourselves from all evil (masturbation, sex outside of marriage aka 'Zina', etc.). If we are sure we can protect ourselves from these sins, we are not obliged to marry. But if we know that we will fall into these heinous sins (Zina, masturbation, haram relations, etc.) then we must marry, even if the women who are available to us for marriage are not good for out suiting (for whatever reason). For the top most reason, we marry for ourselves, not for society.
      Moreover, internet is filled with feministic speeches of Imams that only talk about what men need to do for women in marriage in Islam. Don't fall for algorithm's tricks.

      To have sex, because we can't get it anywhere else, and not everyone wants to die a virgin

      @@HaydenHayden-rd9pn check out almadrastu al umarriyah on the rights of men over their wives. They have a whole playlist on both the rights of men and women over their spouses. And as for you talking about girlfriend and boyfriend, and obviously that is haram. Anyhow just check those videos, cause it seems like you need to understand the whole picture not just get some pointers.

    Its a one sided question.
    The wife has definitely been doing things to make the husband develop this attitude.

      Saying the has “definitely” been doing something wrong without evidence of this is wrong.

      yes could be cuz i’ve never seen such a man this stingy. Men’s heart is easy to change by women’s actions. be it in a good way or this way.
